Step into this guest favorite 2-bedroom loft, located in the Historic Mitchell Bros Building in downtown Bloomington, IN. Loved for its industrial charm, this unit features exposed brick, original wood floors, and modern touches like Keurig coffee, free parking, and secure access. Walk to IU, Kirkwood, shops, and restaurants, or enjoy the nearby cafes and ice cream shop. Perfect for families, groups, or IU events, this Superhost property ensures a stylish and comfortable stay!
The space
The unit has 2 bedrooms with a queen bed and they also have a pull out queen bed in the main area.. These carefully curated units boast 9-14 ft. ceilings, custom Amish Cabinetry, ceramic-tiled bathrooms, and custom doors and trim, offering a glimpse of the past with modern comforts.
Guest access
There is a shared deck on the rear of the building. Each unit will have a designated free parking spot which is same number as the unit. There will also be onsite parking in the paved lot except during business hours of 8AM thru 5PM .

I highly recommend this wonderful place. Clean, comfortable and an easy walk to Kirkwood and all the restaurants and shops. Mary is an awesome host!

We had a great time in Bloomington. Our host Mary went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We actually left a few items in the apartment and Mary happily shipped them to us.

Interior living space was good, location; 1 block within a park of homeless community, camping, tents was questionable. Parking lot was of concern, although we appreciated the lights and camera on sight. Sorry, we would not likely choose this VRBO for future use based on location.

We have never had someone say they have felt unsafe in any way. It is true there are many homeless in downtown Bloomington. We are directly across the road from a charter school, upscale apartments, and less than a block from the convention center. Sorry you won’t be returning.

This place was just wonderful! It’s a beautiful loft apartment with plenty of space (2 bed, 2 bath) and lots of character. The beds were very comfortable, and the water pressure was fantastic. I hope I get the chance to stay here again! Thank you for sharing your home with me.
