Born and raised in MN, I've travelled the world, but returned to MN to start my business and raise a family. We've got three great kids who all love the outdoors.
Why they chose this property
Cherokee Heights is an beautiful neighborhood. It avoids the businesses and congestion of St Paul, while being only 5 minutes from downtown. It is a two minute walk to a huge park with access to trails that go for miles along the river. Access to the airport is also a quick 15 min drive.
What makes this property unique
This turn of the century Victorian home has all the old world charm with stain glass, millwork, and hardwood floors. It had fallen into disrepair and we were brought in to remodel it, which included putting a large addition off the back to create mudroom, large staircase, study, 2nd floor laundry, covered porch, and future ready 2nd floor kitchen. We remodeled the kitchen, put in new hardwood floors with border inlay, added fireplaces to the bedrooms, and created a barrier free main floor bathroom for aging in place. The home is unassuming from the outside, but spacious and fully modernized on the inside while retaining that Victorian classical feeling. You'll never want to leave!
