Great Thanksgiving retreat

Great Location and Great house

We were visiting our daughter at LSU. The house was clean, quiet area and great location. The key pad gave me a low battery signal so I called the property management and they quickly responded. No issues with the property. We would stay there again.

Comfortable and Convenient

The home was great. Nice size rooms, convenient to shopping, dining and very clean. Only drawback - getting in - gate code did not work - two cars ahead of us also had to turn around and try again. Also wi-fi password did not work but we used our phones as hot spots.

Great find!

We had a nice stay at this property. Newly built in a cute neighborhood with easy access to shopping and restaurants. The management were wonderful in working with us (we were evacuating from a hurricane)! As it was a new property it needed a few items, but they assured me they would fix that! The only thing that bothered me was that it is listed as sleeping 6, but the rate is for 4 so you are charged extra for 6 people, and that was not stated on the listing. Other than that it was a great stay.

Poor Communication and Customer Service

I usually don’t write reviews, but I wanted to warn others about this property. The property wasn’t as clean as it should be, especially since you must pay a cleaning fee. There were spider webs in the house going up the stairs, and the refrigerator smelled horrible and had random strands of hair in it. The master bathtub had a dead bug in it. There was no wash clothes, even though I wouldn’t have used them. The upstairs shower had hair in it. There was no hand soap in any of the bathrooms. Also, the smoke alarm was beeping loudly in one of the bedrooms upstairs. I called the property manager when we arrived to advise them of the cleanliness of the townhouse and the fire alarm. They advised that someone would be out that evening to change the battery and that the housekeeper would be by in the morning. We left for the evening and returned around 11 pm, but the battery had not been changed. I messaged the property manager to advise and never received a response. I couldn’t sleep in that room with the loud beeping, so I went to Walgreens at 11:30 to purchase a battery and had to replace the battery myself. I also bought some cleaning products and wiped everything down myself. I was very disappointed that the property manager didn’t have the decency to apologize. I was visiting my daughter at LSU for Family Weekend, so I didn’t allow their unprofessionalism to ruin our trip. If you don’t care about your guest experience, please don’t be a host!
