A beautiful and remote property for getting away from it all. Private lake with good pike fishing and expansive views. Grouse hunting was best I’ve seen in years.

This property is stunningly beautiful ! The cabin was clean and well stocked with firewood, cooking utensils, towels, etc. The hosts were very kind, and checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. They are such nice people. The lake is pristine, and the woods are full of wildlife. Our favorite sighting was the three moose we saw one evening on our way up the remote road to the cabin. I really cannot say enough about how much joy we got from this stay! The peace and beauty is indescribable. Many thanks from two grateful guests!

Very nice place very relaxing, fishing is decent, nice pike and bass fishing. Clean and nice. Wonderful week. A 17 ft boat does not fit, boat slip is pretty rough. Camp boat was nice though. Clay the caretaker is awesome, and we also appreciate the maple syrup. Highly recommend.

Beautiful place.

We enjoyed this very private and secluded place. It was a perfect place to enjoy nature and relax. Fishing, kayaking, and playing board games was so fun. It was a slice of heaven.

This is a wonderful "off the grid" vacation spot. If you are looking for someplace to just get away from everything, this is it. After two hip replacements last winter, we decided to have a relaxing vacation. We didn't kayak, fish, or swim, but the peace and quiet was wonderful. We read books, played games and went for small walks everyday. The cabin was very nice!

We really enjoyed our time at the Double Eagle Lodge. The cabin is beautiful and very clean. The location is perfect for getting away and spending time in nature. We spent most of the time fishing and hanging out by the dock, and enjoying the beautiful screened in porch playing games and watching the wildlife. Thank you!

Great Getaway!

The Cabin was great! Had all the modern amenities but still a rustic feel! The Host was in contact right away after booking with any information we needed and detailed directions to the cabin. The caretaker was a super nice guy and made sure you were all set and safe for your stay. Would stay again for sure!
