Not your average 1 bed/1bath! Private home on 9 acres and 2 just minutes to Lake McMurtry! Enjoy a peaceful country escape to this fun game-room style barndo which includes vintage PacMan & Moral Kombat 3 arcades with mulitple game options, FoosBall, Ping Pong & Shuffle board all tucked away in the countryside but so close to town! Close lake access with 2 kayaks available for your use(at request) and a pond on the property with 2 fishing poles also available! 7 miles to OSU and close to tons of shopping and other popular local attractions and venues.

This open floor plan is equipped with a fully stocked kitchen, a 65” Roku TV in the common room, a 12ft sofa & a futon sofa/sleeper, a small but accommodating bathroom with toiletries provided & large bedroom with a comfy king size bed and a 40” Roku TV. We also provide a queen size air mattress and extra linens, pillows and towels are available. Air mattress can be assembled before check-in if needed. Entire place comfortably sleeps 5. *** note to mention…We do live on the property, across the driveway in the blue house, but I will leave you at peace to enjoy your stay unless you need me!

The Barndo was so nice! It was perfect for our family and the kids really enjoyed the games! The owners were very nice and accommodating. It was quiet and peaceful out in the country, yet still close enough to town to be convenient. We were very pleased with our visit and would recommend this place.

Great place to remove yourself from the city (but only a 10 minute drive to a store). Great games inside. Comfy king bed. 5 min drive to beach on lake. Pond on property to fish or kayak under beautiful trees. We'll stay again!

We came to visit our college freshman. This was our first time staying in a barndo and we loved it! My teen boys especially enjoyed the space with the games and the big open area. I think they see it like a big man cave! The host, Liz, was great and the fresh baked cookies were a hit with our crew. The location is great if you want to be out a bit, which we didn’t mind. It was nice to get away from town and the property is beautiful. My kids are already asking to stay next time we come to OSU!

This place was amazing! Very large on the inside with so many different entertainment options inside the barndo to do. Board games, arcade games, ping pong, checkers, fishing and wildlife. We even checked out the water spot since the host left fish rods out to be used. The host Liza was amazing and so accommodating to our family. They really thought of everything inside the barndo. All the toiletries, to items in the kitchen, even house shoes for guest. We needed an air mattress for our stay, Liza had it all set up, bed made and everything. The host really kept guest in mind when adding items to the cabin and their needs. We will 100% be back and recommend to anyone headed to Stillwater!

Quiet, huge, peaceful....

I loved my stay here! The owner really set up the place nicely with all the things you could need. Great kitchen tools and cookware. A little cooler and ice packs were there. (Just a nice touch) The games in the game room were the real deal! Ping pong, foosball, and so much more. The wifi was super high bandwidth. Easily did work there with video calls, while streaming in 4k! The AC was excellent. The bed was super comfortable. If I had a couple of kids with me or just a couple of guys to hang out - the size of the place is amazing. Easy access to food shopping about 10 minutes away. Super clean and maintained. If you want peace and quiet while you are on your trip away from home and in the area - this is it for you. I am so rested after my stay.

Highly recommend staying here. Everything you need is here and then some. Liza and OB were wonderful host. Enjoyed watching the goats and the Road Runner. Can’t leave out Dimebag, the kitty cat. Wish we would’ve had more time to enjoy the property. Can’t wait to stay here again. Don’t forget to check out the live music in Stillwater! Go Pokes!

Both my husband and I were born and raised in San Diego, California. We moved to Oklahoma nearly 4 years ago to enjoy a slower paced lifestyle and have been enjoying every moment of it! Being from a big city, we really appreciate the quiet peace of living out here in the country but having access to town so close by. We have been able to travel a lot in the past and I have wanted to be able to host as a STR host for years and years. I gave up my nail career recently and feel so fortunate to finally be able to have a rental and I have based things from our past travels into what I would want in a place to stay at. I wanted our place to be relaxing, fun and have necessities available if needed. I’m truly grateful to be able to offer guests our home for a memorable stay. We live on the property but respect people’s privacy, we’re here to offer any assistance with questions but I will also respectfully leave you to enjoy your stay in peace.

We live in the woods right next door to the entrance of a beautiful lake with lots of hiking trails and fishing available. We also have 2 kayaks for your use with your visit! Our property is very serene with tons of wildlife and families of deer that come to graze daily.

What makes this property unique

Our location is definitely unique in the sense that we are tucked away in the tranquil part of the country, yet so close to town. But I think what really sets us apart is our location combined with all the fun amenities that we provide and such a large space at nearly 2,000 sqft.
It truly is one of a kind.
