About Owner/Property Manager

Our children, who have been raised in Cayman, were so excited on the day of our purchase of Cayman Reef #31. We feel privileged to be able to share in this experience to visitors to the Island.

Cayman Islands has been our home for 14 years. Cayman Reef has an amazing reputation for attracting repeat visitors, and when we were researching the purchase of a beach-front property, we were extremely impressed with the immaculate way in which this property is managed and maintained.

Everything at footsteps

Wow! That is the best way to sum it up. We had a wonderful time at this property. We came to celebrate our birthdays. My 50th and my husband's 55th. Best birthdays ever! The owners were nice enough to let us stay an extra night when our plane was delayed almost 2 days.

The beach really is right outside your door. The views inside the condo were amazing. In the mornings we would open the windows in the condo and get a cross breeze, and hear the sound of the ocean. So amazing. You really don't need a car. Across the street there is a liquor store and shops in a little plaza. There is also a Wendy's and Subway across the street.

To go the grocery store we took the city bus for ($2.50 US) to the store, and then got a taxi back (($10 US). You could also take the bus both ways, but on our first trip we had a taxi bring us back because we had a lot and the taxi brought us right to the door of the condo. You can also walk to the grocery store (about 15 min). Just depends on how hot it is.

There are many restaurants with in walking distance like Cimboco across the street, Marriot to the left on the beach and Royal Palms to the right on the beach. Royal Palms was great for an afternoon drink. Great breeze blows through there. We had Pina Colada's there almost every day. Even hung out in the pool one afternoon too. So much fun.

You really can't go wrong with this condo. It's not overly fancy but everything you need is here.

Perfect location!

We just got back from a week stay in paradise! Unit 31 was as close to the beach as you can had everything u need for an enjoyable stay. There was also a kayak to use which we did everyday! The bed was comfy and the kitchen and living areas were fine too. we didn't spend a lot of time inside!

It was convenient to quite a few restaurants, bars, the grocery store and liquor store.the Monday night beach BBQ at Rum point was such a fun time. went over on a catamaran from safe harbor for 5 bucks each...we also did the snorkeling excursion to the kittiwake ... that was fun. we also rented a jeep for one day .. went over to rum point for several hrs and the blow holes and just explored on our own.. well worth the money. Snorkeling off the beach was pretty good with lots of lobsters. everyone we met were super friendly and we always felt safe when walking around ... and we did a lot of walking!!!

We will def come back to Cayman and especially to cayman reef resort and unit 31!!! Thanks Brian and Carrie for the use of your condo!

My husband and I have thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary here! We have loved walks on the beautiful beach, snorkeling right in front of our condo, easy travel on the local buses, music and dancing at Royal Palms next door, and being able to prepare some meals right here! The sunsets were amazing from our porch with Happy Hour stuff!

The condo is very nice and roomy! It was a treat to have the TV with Netflix after a day on on the beach, complimentary phone to call home, cookware and dishwasher! Oh, and a wonderful bed!

The hurricane sent some seaweed to the beach, but it was quickly cleared by the friendly staff here. The water is crystal clear and it feels like you are in an aquarium with all the fish that eat tortillas right out of your hand!

There are no negatives to Brian and Carrie's idyllic condo and spot on 7 Mile Beach! We will definitely be back!!!

If we were any closer we'd be in the ocean!

Just as reviewed on VRBO!! Just steps from everywhere, the umbrellas, lounge beach chairs, grocery, gas station, Wendy's right across the street!

The bedroom is roomy and the king size bed is comfortable. The roll away bed is very easy to put out of the way in the am. The washer and dryer are easy to use and washing powder and dryer sheets are avail. Extra sunscreen, soap, lotion, a hair dryer , toilet paper, paper towels are under the bathroom sink. Even large beach towels are here! Extra salt, pepper and spices for cooking. Basically all you truly need is a few changes of clothes and a swimsuit!!!!

Free wifi, cable tv and free calls to the U.S.

We did not rent a car, the condo is close to everything. Do not waste your money. The taxi's or city vans / buses will take you anywhere for a smaller price than a rental car.

This is our fifth year to cayman and our second stay at this resort ! We will be back next year ! Thank you Brian and Carrie for letting us stay at your condo home.

Beautiful location

The condo was just as pictured and in a perfect location on the island and on the beach.

We did rent a car but everything you need is close by.

If you are looking for a beach vacation, this is the ultimate experience.

Renting a car and waiting for buses are not necessary... there are boats that offer pick-up service, a few feet from the doors of the condo.

Camana Bay offers all of the amenities of home with a Caribbean flair, and is a popular and child-friendly locale, where all can enjoy a relaxed and up-beat experience, including energetic nightly happy-hours.

We have lived in the Cayman Islands for over 14 years where we have, and continue to live and raise our four children. We feel extremely fortunate to have been given the opportunity to own what we consider a piece of paradise, which is Cayman Reef Unit #31, the condo as close to the ocean as you can possibly get on SMB.

Our primary residence is across the street, minutes from the condo. We thoroughly enjoy all of the time we have been able to spend at the condo when it is not being rented to others, who can hopefully share the same joy we have experienced. Because of the amount of time we have spent enjoying the peaceful serenity that is Cayman Reef 31, our inspiration for the interior decor was to create a sense of home. We have therefore decorated it with furniture that has a Caribbean, beachfront flair, while at the same time providing the creature comforts we expect from home, and are proud to have received the highest rating possible by the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism.

We hope you are able to experience the same joy on this unique and beautiful Island during your short visit as much as we have for the past 14 years.
