Private One Bedroom, Full Bath, 4 Sleeps, Full Kitchen And Private Rooftop Deck
Sleek and contemporary one bedroom 'pied a terre' in the heart of the Culver City art gallery district. This artsy neighborhood in Culver City is a creative place with many art galleries and artist studios, as well as mixed-use business and residential areas. This apartment has a private gated entrance and is a stand alone apartment on the second floor above a fine art gallery. It is a bright and airy space with windows on all four sides. It is like a small private home with no neighbors above you or on any sides.
There is a comfy memory foam queen size bed in the bedroom and a sofa in the living room, which folds down to become a bed for one person very comfortably or two people who will be very cozy since it is a little less wide than a full size bed (there is a thick foam topper for this bed for extra comfort). Maximum occupancy is four people but the unit is really well suited for three adults or two adults and two children for most comfort.
42" Smart HDTV with cable and bluray/DVD player in the living room, as well as free WiFi and a ceiling fan. There is a gorgeous private outdoor rooftop deck including table, umbrella and four chairs for use exclusively by our guests. Apartment has central a/c and central heating system. This is a non-smoking unit inside but you can smoke outside on the deck. No smoking inside the apartment!
Unit has a front loading washer and dryer in unit, as well as an iron, ironing board, and hairdryer. Full kitchen with gas range/oven, full size refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, pots, pans, plates, glasses, bowls, utensils, etc. Two beach towels and two beach chairs to use on the deck or for your trip to the beach. There is also a charcoal barbecue on the deck.
In the neighborhood, there are 30+ galleries within a five block radius of the art loft, so if you are an art lover you will be in paradise! Approximately 10 minutes to LACMA and 15 minutes to MOCA. Within a 15 minute drive you can explore Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Santa Monica, Venice beach or downtown. It is approximately one mile to downtown Culver city restaurants, theater, bars, shops, etc.
There is a dedicated parking space as well as plenty of off street parking for larger vehicles. Close to train and bus routes and close to major freeways so you can access all that Los Angeles has to offer!
We can be flexible regarding check-in and check-out times if you let us know your plans. However, if a guest is leaving on a day that another guest is arriving, we need to follow the posted check-in and check out times. We try to be as flexible as possible!
Maximum occupancy is four people. The apartment is not child proofed so no children under the age of ten permitted. If they are close to ten we can discuss!
Guests staying longer than one month (2, 3, 4 months, etc.) will require a housekeeper every four weeks ($70 per cleaning for our housekeeper). Unfortunately no pets are permitted at the Art Loft. Our second Culver City VRBO property (2 bedroom "Garden Oasis" VRBO.com property 741588) allows dogs because there is a large yard with lawn.

A wonderful apartment , I'm a repeat visitor.
The apartment is modern, quiet, clean and comfortable. It's close to wonderful restaurants , coffee shops etc. Paul, the manager, is a delight to deal with.
Lovely place to stay, very convenient location
The apartment was very nice and was just what I needed while traveling. Paul went above and beyond to make sure my stay was wonderful and that the process was smooth. I would definitely stay here again.
Hi Mike and Emily,
We loved having you as our guest and really appreciated how well you cared for the apartment! When you left it was as spotless as when you arrived! I highly recommend this guest to other hosts!
We stayed at the apartment for about 10 days and thought it was wonderful. Paul met us to go over all the details, which was very helpful, and there is a binder with lots of info about the apartment and the area, as well.
The apartment is beautifully furnished, very clean and quiet. The kitchen is well stocked and although I thought I would miss a dishwasher, the truth is that it just wasn’t needed. The washer/dryer was very helpful given the heat and smoky air (from wildfires) during our stay.
Off-street reserved parking is fantastic and pretty rare in short-term rentals from our experience, so that was a plus.
The apartment, the location and the parking all added up to make this a place we will visit again.
Great location! Clean. Lots of light and well cared for.
Great place to stay for the week. Quite neighborhood with Easy and quick access to LA attractions and shopping at major retailers. Check in and check out was easy. Very thoughtful to have fresh fruit and wine in the house for us at time of check in. The kitchen was supplied well, and we cooked dinner almost every night. Towels were soft. Having washer and dryer in unit was nice. Great natural light from all the windows. Dinner on patio was relaxing after a long day of sight seeing.
Hi Ben, thank you for the great review! I am so glad you enjoyed the apartment and your time in LA. We look forward to seeing you again in the future!
We loved it!
We spent the entire summer here and we really enjoyed it! Paul was a really great host and was very communicative.
The floor plan is nice and open, even more so than the pictures reflect. The kitchen was great, and the internet worked really well. We got a lot of enjoyment from having dinners on the patio outside.
Another bonus was the proximity to the major arteries of LA which allowed us to get where we wanted with ease. We hope to be back!
Hi Marie, it was such a pleasure to have you and Max and your adorable children stay at the Art Loft! I am so glad you enjoyed your time in LA and we look forward to seeing you again in the future! Best, Paul
A perfect pied- a -terre
This was my second time staying here, the place is safe, clean, well designed and comfortable with parking and wifi. Its so well equipped, that I regretted not having time to cook and use the apartment more. The TV was broken, but Paul came with a temporary solution for me...he was wonderful.
Hi Anna, It was a pleasure to have you visit and stay at The Art Loft again! I hope you enjoyed your time with your family. The new TV arrived yesterday so next time you visit there is a larger Smart TV waiting for you!
The Art Loft is located in the Culver City Gallery district, also 10-15 minutes from LACMA and MOCA art museums, great for art lovers. Centrally located with easy access to the beach, downtown, Beverly Hills, West Hollywood and Hollywood - and all that LA has to offer!
