This place is a true hidden gem. I’ve lived in Chicago for over two decades and travel often, so when I designed this space, I wanted it to feel like the kind of stay I’m always hoping to find — stylish, peaceful, and close to everything without breaking the bank.

You’re just a minute from the Green Line and 10 minutes to the West Loop, but the street itself is calm and quiet — perfect for recharging after a day in the city.

The unit is newly renovated (2025!) and garden-level, with its own private entrance. Inside, you’ll find modern design touches, premium linens, a memory foam sofa that can sleep one, and thoughtful features like a 180° swivel TV with LED mood lighting, a charging nightstand, full kitchen, in-unit laundry, a sleek stand-up shower, and a foldable desk if you need to get some work done.

Outside, there’s a cozy little nook just for you under the deck, plus access to a shared backyard with string lights, seating for seven, a small grill, and a designated smoking area.

If you’re looking to enjoy the West Loop lifestyle without the noise, traffic, or premium price tag — you’ll feel right at home here. I’ve tried to create a space that’s calm, convenient, and full of thoughtful little details. Hope you love it as much as I do.
Note: no thermostat access in this unit. Heat is controlled remotely by the property owner. The unit has several space heaters.

Perfect for a weekend getaway

Super easy to check in. On street parking was easy, I was able to keep my car parked there the entire trip. The couch was comfortable and so was the bed in the room. The host was timely and efficient when communicating, and even offered different things to do while in the city. I felt safe and comfortable the entire trip. Checking out was super easy as well. Would definitely stay here again!!!

Why they chose this property

This neighborhood is right next to the West Loop, the most trendy and up-and-coming neighborhood in Chicago. Being close to the United Center, this property is in an area that will undergo a lot of development by the City of Chicago. While the proximity to the West Loop and Green Line are reason enough, the area as a whole is still generally affordable. Therefore, this property meets the sweetspot of convenience and affordability.

What makes this property unique

A private backyard with 3 spaces (under the deck, street level, and upper level deck) is rare to find in a Chicago 1br unit. Additionally, the fact that the Green Line is within 60 seconds is a big bonus, especially when you consider that there is very little noise from the train line.
