Our family and in-laws had a great time in VanMeter! Lindsy was a great hostess and has a wonderful new home with plenty of space to spread out and enjoy a long weekend with family.West Des Moines, Winterset and Adel were short drives and provided fun day trips for exploring.We would certainly recommend making this your stop if you’re in the area!

Great house!

I’ve stayed in several Vrbo properties and this one is my favorite so far! Beautiful house in a nice safe neighborhood. I drove down from MN to meet family from OK to attend the hot air balloon festival. Our group consisted of 5 adults and 3 children. There were plenty of bedrooms and beds for everyone. We all agreed the beds were comfortable. The house had everything we needed to cook meals, play games, watch movies and more! I can’t stress enough how much we loved this house.

The house was perfect for my extended family to gather before and after a family funeral. We enjoyed both the upstairs and downstairs gathering areas, and having a full kitchen to use. Lindsy was very responsive when we had questions, and her husband even brought us extra towels! This house turned a sad visit into a comfortable gathering for multiple generations.
