Two private bedrooms are located on the main level.
The finished lower level is a studio-style layout with two separate sleeping areas. One queen bed in a defined alcove space and one queen bed in the main living are, with sleeping areas positioned on opposite sides of the room for privacy. The suite includes a full leather lounge with Roku smart TV, a bar area with beverage fridge, ample cabinet storage, a 4-seat dining area, and a full bathroom with rain shower. Ideal for two guests wanting separated sleeping arrangements, or a crew lead who wants a private floor.

New full-sized washer and dryer are located in the lower level laundry room.

Whether you're managing a project, working an event series, or relocating to the Des Moines area, this home offers space, privacy and convenience for longer stays.

The Dahl House is a pet-friendly home where your pups are genuinely welcome! We've thought of the details so you and your fury travel companion can settle in and relax together.

Doggie bags are stocked on the back deck, and you're just minutes from some of Des Moines' best walking paths and dog-friendly parks. Don't miss Paws & Pints, the Ulti-mutt canine retreat & human social park. We have a spacious back yard for ball tossing and zoomies, but please note the yard is not entirely fenced in.

We do ask that dogs are crated when left home alone, and a $125 pet fee applies per visit. Up to 2 dogs under 50 lbs welcome. No cats please.

Two exterior security cameras monitor the front entry/driveway and rear entry. Outward-facing only, no interior cameras. A Minut device monitors noise levels and smoke only; no audio or video recording inside the home.

Dogs must be crated if left alone. No excessive barking. Clean up after pets. Guests are responsible for any pet-related damage or extra cleaning.
Stays of 28 days or longer require a signed rental agreement within 24-48 hours of booking reservation.
No Smoking Indoors. If smoking is detected indoors, an additional cleaning fee may be charged to cover the extra cleaning and odor removal required.
