About Glenn & Steve
We are both passionate about Puglia . . . it's cuisine & wine, the beaches and abundant sunshine. Having tired of London's grey skies, we divide our time between the UK and Italy. But probably more important than what we can say about ourselves is what guests say, these excerpts taken from reviews that guests have posted about us and our house manager, Annie: “The owners are caring about their customers in a way, which was for us outstandnig and rarely to be found!” “ Annie, the house manager, welcomed us to the property and provided helpful information to ensure we had a great time.” “Annie, the manager is available for help and advice about the local area and Glenn (the owner) was extremely responsive to all queries.” “To Glenn and Steve: a big "thank you" again for the all helpful advice and good company.“ “Glenn and Stephen make you feel safe and welcome as soon as you arrive and the whole point of this kind of accommodation, is to leave you feeling of having lived as a local.” “Glenn, Steve, Annie were all lovely. It was a wonderful experience.” “From the moment we booked we had several email exchanges with Glenn, who gave us great information on places to visit. When we arrived there was a bottle of Prosecco and flowers from him and Steve to congratulate us on our marriage, which was so thoughtful. Annie who checked us in and out was also very helpful and friendly - great to chat to.” “All in all Glenn and Steve have created an idyllic holiday home for families and couples that we will definitely be returning to.” “ We hired bikes from Ostuni which were delivered and collected (details provided by Glenn and Steve) and we ambled our way through the countryside, passing farms, and stopping off for a picnic and the odd bit of lunch time drinking.” “Thanks to Glenn and Steve for all their help and advice leading up to the holiday, especially the recommendations on restaurants.”
Glenn & Steve purchased this Villa in 2010

Just like heaven on earth.
It was exactly as billed. The facilities were super, it was comfortable, quiet and very relaxing. We knew what we wanted, in terms of ambience and standards and we were not disappointed. Excellent outdoor living and cool night time sleeping. Highly recommended.
Thank you Colin. It is always rewarding for us sharing our small slice of heaven with guests. We hope you have opportunity for a return visit . . . as you experienced, there's so much to see or do (or do nothing!) Glenn & Steve
More than ticks all the boxes
We had a wonderful 10-day break in this beautifully renovated Trullo. Annie, the house manager, welcomed us to the property and provided helpful information to ensure we had a great time. A fifteen minute walk to the local family run minimarket where you could buy freshly prepared dishes to take away as well as having a fantastic selection of homemade focaccias. The weather was fabulous and consequently we made full use of the spacious outside areas relaxing poolside, in the pagoda and always al fresco dining. Beautiful sunsets and views over the olive and almond grove. Freshly picked figs and almonds for breakfast were a novelty. Plenty of seating areas indoors should the weather have turned.
We visited the wonderful nearby towns of Alberobello, Locorotondo, Ostuni, Martina Franca, Cisternino and Ceglie Messapica as well as venturing further afield to the magnificent city of Lecce. Spoilt for choice for eating out which we did most of the time. We were never disappointed. Wonderful food and wines. Lots of recommendations and information within the Trullo and Annie was always available should anything further be required (she was a godsend sorting out our parking fine payment on our behalf!).
A stunning coastline which we should have visited more but we just loved getting home to the Trullo after a day of sightseeing to chill out by the pool. The gorgeous scent of the lavender filled the air adding to the pleasure of a relaxing swim.
We would love to return one day and have absolutely no hesitation in recommending to family and friends.
Ecstatic you so enjoyed TrulliVIstas and the surrounding area :) Thank you and do hope that you have opportunity to return! Yes, we are so fortunate to have Annie to look after our guests when we are not nearby and to look after our guests. Our local mini-market is a real find . . . so pleased you enjoy the home cooking as much as we do. Glenn & Steve
Very relaxing week in a gorgeous trulli!
We had a very relaxing week in this beautiful Trulli. The property more than lived up to our expectations, in fact exceeded them, being even better than it looks in the images. The pool is stunning, it is hard to tear yourself away from the pagoda overlooking the pool and gardens (great place to watch the sunset) and the terrace is a lovely place to eat at any time of day. The property is very clean and well-equipped, much more so than other places we have visited. A dishwasher and washing machine are welcome features.
The trulli is within easy driving distance of many Puglian towns and villages. Annie, the manager is available for help and advice about the local area and Glenn (the owner) was extremely responsive to all queries. We would highly recommend Trulli Vistas to anyone looking to get away from it all in a beautiful setting. We are planning to return!
Thank you Janice. Exceeding expectations is always rewarding for guests . . . and especially meaningful for us as owners. Do hope you have opportunity to return in the not-too-distant future. Glenn & Steve
Returning Is Such Sweet Pleasure
So this was the fifth straight year we have spent our summer holiday at this wonderful Trullo - as Glenn reminded us "wood" is the fifth anniversary gift! And after busy holiday trips to the U.S., Scotland and Mexico earlier in the year what a pleasure it was to come back and relax in this amazingly tranquil place. Swimming in the pool, reading under the Pergola and eating and drinking local foods and wines on the patio - outdoors is the place to be here. Still love buying fresh produce from the markets in Ostuni and Martina Franca. So anything new this year? Plenty. A new supermarket in Ostuni - Famila - that provides more choice and has an excellent selection of breads, and next to it a wonderful wine shop well stocked and very friendly and helpful staff on-hand to answer questions and offer free tastings. Also for the first time we had family - Rebecca and Paul - join us for a long weekend so they could see first hand why we keep coming back and they get it now. As always Annie was tremendous from the moment of her welcome to answering all our questions during our stay- wonderful lady. To Glenn and Steve: a big "thank you" again for the all helpful advice and good company. This Trullo has everything we need for our summer holiday - no surprise then that another two weeks in July next year is already booked.
You're welcome Brian & Judith. And so happy you were able to share some of your holiday and what you've come to love about TrulliVistas with some of your family. See you next year! Glenn, Steve (and Annie) x
Picturesque, peaceful and unique
The only way to believe the beauty of this place is to experience it first hand.
Although my husband and I went on our 10th anniversary trip alone, we plan on coming back next year with our two boys, aged 9 and 3.
The setting is ideal. A hilltop view and cool breezes make simply being at the property just as attractive as visiting the many old, picturesque towns within a 7km radius.
The pool is a wonderful option to the Adriatic, which is a short 15min drive.
Glenn and Stephen make you feel safe and welcome as soon as you arrive and the whole point of this kind of accommodation, is to leave you feeling of having lived as a local. The place oozes passion and soul.
We went to a few incredible restaurants nearby and on other days, we shopped at local markets and cooked out under the stars, by the pool, eating al fresco.
The house itself has an other worldly charm, staying cool both day and night. The surrounding gardens are enchanting, with endless lavender bushes, flowering cacti and olive, pomegranate and almond trees.
It's is "Trulli" one of the most beautiful spots we have ever been to and would recommend it to anyone considering a visit.
Thank you Ania and Janis! We anticipated you would like TrulliVistas . . . and now confirmation!! So glad you enjoyed your stay and can't wait to meet the little guys in the not-too-distant future. Enjoy your Canadian summer! G&S
A fantastic holiday in a lovely location
We have now returned from a lovely fortnight in the Trulli and had a fabulous time. A truly relaxing place to stay with everything provided for an enjoyable holiday. Spent lots of time relaxing at the Trulli in the grounds and made plentiful use of the pool. Annie was on hand to help and met us on arrival and took us to the Trulli. The weather was great and we managed to get out most days to explore the wonderful towns and villages around, our favourite of which was Locorotondo about 15 minutes drive away. The Trulli is ideally situated for exploring the area with the coast and numerous beaches about 30 minutes away. Finally whilst we did a small amount of cooking at the Trulli, we enjoyed several memorable meals out eating local produce cooked superbly - all in all a truly memorable holiday and a great way to celebrate my wife 50th Birthday.
Thanks Andy. It makes us really pleased that your family had a fab time. Yup, the food is pretty incredible :) Glad TrulliVistas provided you the relaxing base for your holiday. Glenn, Steve (and Annie)
Our romantic trullo with pool & two lamia sits on a rural countryside hilltop in the Valle d'Itria amongst a grove of olive & almond trees, and is ideally placed for easy access (less than 10km) to Martina Franca, Ceglie, Cisternino & Ostuni. Ostuni's beaches are accessible in about 25 minutes by car. The property has 180-degree views of the surrounding hills and valleys, dotted with trulli, masseria and local vineyards -- where you can visit and taste the locally produced wines. Local amenities e.g. supermarket, restaurants, bars are only short drives (or bicycling!) away. Martina Franca hosts an internationally-reknown music festival (13 July - 4 Aug '13) and the UNESCO World Heritage site, Alberobello, is a 15km drive passing through the beautiful city of Locorotondo. The Adriatic, westward to the white beaches of Campomarino, is about an hour's drive. Lecce, the beautiful baroque jewel, makes for a perfect day trip. Brindisi Airport: 40 min Bari Airport: 1 hr 10min Other Activities: Beaches, wine tasting, great Puglian restaurants, site-seeing
