About Thomas Speers
Tom and Suzanne Speers are interested in providing you with a true 'seashore' experience. 'Sunrise – Sunset' is the name which we have given our unit on the fourth floor of Santa Barbara South because in the morning you can see the sun rise from the ocean and in the evening see the sun set over the bay.
Thomas Speers purchased this Condo in 2012
Why Thomas Speers chose Ocean City
Tom's mother was raised in Ocean City and his grandfather, Capt. Jack Jernee, was the captain of the Ocean City Beach Patrol in the 1930s. So Tom grew up enjoying many of the delights of Ocean City: days on the beach, body surfing and evenings on the Boardwalk. It is our wish that you too will fall in love with Ocean City, a great place to vacation with friends and family.
What makes this Condo unique
'Sunrise – Sunset' has been completely renovated. There is a full kitchen complete with new dishwasher, microwave, electric stove and refrigerator. There are Quartz countertops, all new cabinets and undercabinet lighting to provide a fun environment for those interested in cooking. The sitting area has a queen-size sofa bed, entertainment center and shuttered windows. The hallway leading to the bedroom is filled with memorabilia of the Ocean City Beach Patrol and Ocean City Academy. After World War II, Capt. Jack Jernee purchased an old lifesaving station at 36th and Central Avenue in Ocean City and turned it into a summer camp for boys which he named the Ocean City Academy. The purpose of OCA was to teach nautical skills. Several years later, Capt. Jernee and his wife converted the school into a guest home which was called Jernee Manor. The bedroom has a kingsize bed and a large closet. From the bedroom one can see the Flanders Hotel and ferris wheel at Castaway Cove on the boardwalk. A sliding glass door opens from the bedroom onto a private balcony which is a great place eat to meals or just hang out, relax and read a book.

We loved it, was perfect!
They were very easy to work with and it was a perfect location.
Third time is a charm
Great location. You can park your car on Saturday and walk to everything. They have everything in the unit you can think of. Our family always loves staying here and can't wait till next year! Don't think just book!
We had a wonderful time at this condo that seemed like a seaside cottage. It was very comfortable and we were close to everywhere that we wanted to go. My son said that it was one of his favorite vacations ever!
Unit #403 is luxurious!
Where do I begin? This place had it all. The private parking and elevator when you first arrive is convenient. The views from the 4th floor is spectacular! (looking out the front door you can see a beautiful sunset overlooking OCNJ and the 9th street bridge (not too mention the well lit pool area down below). The place was decorated in a very nautical way. There was so much history about OCNJ in just one place. No need to go to the Ocean City Historical Museum. Just a great summer feel. The kitchen was the highlight of it all. My wife was raving about underlit cabinets and beautiful countertops. The back porch through the Master Bedroom was where time was most spent! Great views of beach, boardwalk, and Flanders Hotel. Also, the pictures do not show the wonderful and comfy wicker porch furniture, which was a great and surprising touch. My wife and kids really loved this condo and I give my highest recommeendations on Unit #403 on your next trip to OCNJ. I will end this review with a phrase from my daughter " Daddy, can we live here forever." Thank you Tom and Suzanne and we hope to be back next year.
Great condo perfect location
The condo was perfectly decorated, clean and provided just enough space. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you need including a crock pot. The location couldn't have been better. We loved sitting on the balcony at night winding down after the days events. The beach passes were a nice surprise and appreciated. The condo staff work very hard maintaining the building and ensuring everything was in order. The only downside was not being able to bring our 14 month old in the big pool (condo rules) so we didn't spend as much time there as we would have otherwise. We would definitely book again. Thanks for a great place to stay for the week!
My husband, son and I just love this condo. This was our second summer in a row coming here. It's the perfect location to everything so you don't really have to drive anywhere. The condo is clean and decorated so nicely. The whole building itself is great as well with the pool, access to laundry and your own parking spot. I highly recommend staying here!
