We enjoyed our stay! The house was very clean when we arrived. Check-in was easy. The owner was very responsive if I had any questions. The house had the perfect amount of space for our family of 3 plus 2 dogs. The outside area is very nice and it’s fenced in. The location is also great! I will definitely stay again next time I’m in the area.

This is a lovely home in Portage Lakes. While not on the lake, its close proximity makes it ideal for a visit to the area. It's nicely renovated and includes two beautiful bathrooms and a lovely kitchen. Our main problem concerned the check-in. We did not receive a code for unlocking the front door prior to the check-in time and were unable to reach the host or management company after repeated phone calls and texts. If it wasn't for our realtor, who happened to know the host and was able to successfully reach her, we would have been unable to get into the house prior to our plans that evening. The upstairs bedroom gets rather warm during the night; it's difficult for the air conditioning to reach up there; this might be a significant issue during a hot summer. The other problem was that there was no bath soap or wash or shampoo in either bathroom. Once we alerted the host, she supplied many bottles, which we greatly appreciated. The bed pillows need replacing; they are all flat and lumpy. We were somewhat confused as to why the check-out instructions include stripping the bed, emptying the garbage, and running the dishwasher when we had paid more than 200/night for this stay. It's hard to justify a VRBO at this price when a hotel room would include all of these services. Otherwise, it's a very comfortable home and a great location!

This is the perfect get away! The house is so cute, we loved the open kitchen. The neighborhood is quiet which is very nice. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay.
