Located just 5 miles south of The Dalles, Oregon . . . our charming neighborhood offers a perfect blend of rural tranquility and convenient proximity. Only 90 minutes from Portland, escape to a picturesque setting surrounded by 50-acre farms adorned with cherry orchards, grape vineyards, and expansive hayfields. Enjoy the serenity of a creek weaving through the landscape. Within 15 minutes, discover a quaint downtown with everything you need—groceries, coffee shops, pubs, and antique stores. Experience the best of both worlds at our doorstep.
Parking, Campsite, Barn, 50-Acres of Trails, Creek Area, GiftShop and Gardens are all available for exploration.
The Handsfull Farm "Creek-side Retreat" Glampsite, located 10 feet from Mill Creek (year-round), has a private entrance and includes a welcoming tent with a queen-size mattress and heated mattress covers, area heater, and floor fans. Enjoy amenities such as the fire-pit, lounge chairs, and outdoor bathtub with hot running water. The retreat kitchen has several coffee options, toaster oven, pots/pans/dishes, and a mini-fridge stocked w/ breakfast essentials (eggs, pancake mix, hot cocoa, etc). Guests can also enjoy fresh organic free-range eggs from our barn (please help yourself!). Your bathroom, shower, and tub are private and dedicated to you. All of this nestled amidst a working 50-acre farm with gardens and animals. Numerous "deer trails" for hiking in the woods, bird watching, or exploring wildlife.
Dedicated parking, a 300 foot walk along a wood chipped path (about the length of a football field), to a private secluded campsite with WiFi.
Tesla Wall Connector (Level 2) EV charger available– works with Teslas, and other EVs (with adapter).
There is dedicated parking for the glampsite near the main house/shop. Town is quick car drive or bike ride away.
This is a working farm, there are many animals (both wild and farm friendly), we strive to keep things clean, orderly and peaceful, but always an adventure.
Other properties on-site include: another glamping site called "Duck Pond Oasis" and we also have "RV Stays at Handsfull Farm" (for parking RVs).

About the host
Hosted by Travis Burdine
Retired US Air Force pilot, and large family living on the most amazing piece of land, just 90 mins from Portland . . . we just want to share our slice of nature.
Why they chose this property
50 acres of property, 2 creeks, 1 barn, a bunch of petting-zoo friendly farm animals (including alpacas, ducks, chickens, goats, bunnies, and a mini-horse.
What makes this property unique
We live "on the dry-side of Oregon" . . . 90 more days of sun than Portland and only 1/4 of the rain. This glampsite truly is private, and a nature immersion. Fantastic for rest and relaxation, getting away from the stress of work, and recharging your batteries.
