About John Moore
Currently living full time in Kansas, we purchased a vacation home in Shell Knob in 2008. In 2013, we purchased this property which is conveniently located next door so that we could share good times and our lake view with others. Our family from left to right: Quentin & Carson, John & Denise, Kelsey & Viktor. We love spending time with our family at the lake! God Bless America and God Bless our Troops! John & Denise
John Moore purchased this House in 2013
Why John Moore chose Shell Knob Township
This home has the best view of the 3 homes located here. The location is perfect in that it is so close to town, has easy lake access and has a great view.

Had a wonderful time
The home is one half of a duplex. It was perfect for us, two couples, because it has two bedrooms and a 3 piece bath for each. We loved having early morning coffee and some dinners, out on the screened in porch with a view of Table Rock lake. The decor is contemporary and comfortable. The kitchen is small but fully equipped including a full size refrigerator and dishwasher. The home has Dish TV and WiFi also central Air. The home is close to the lake and close to town. We will be happy to come back!
Thank you! Come back and stay again!
Modern and clean
If you are looking for a very comfortable safe, clean, modern and convenient place this is it. Only down side was not having the internet on site. We would stay there again and would recommend to friends and family.
There is WiFi onsite. The pass code is displayed in the information book on the coffee table. I use the same WiFi daily.
On your next stay please ask if you have any questions or need anything.
Lovely Home - The pictures do not do it justice!
We enjoyed our stay at the Clubmoore Duplex. It is tastefully decorated, plenty of room for two couples and a very nice view of the lake. The pictures of this home do not do it justice. We had a few issues upon arrival but they were quickly remedied with the owners. Plenty of parking including for boat/trailer. Lovely covered deck overlooking the landscape and Table Rock Lake across the road. Only 5 minutes from public boat launch. grocery, bait, gas and restaurants. Would definitely recommend to others.
Thank you! The screened in deck is now complete. Please come see us again without all the construction.
Riding the Ozarks
We had a great time. This trip was planned months in advance. We met up with my Daughter and Son n Law. They are from AZ and we came from MN. Weather was a little warm and humid but we didn't get the rain as the weatherman predicted the week before. Our rides were great. Got to see some pretty country and meet some good people. There was some construction going on during our stay. New decks and some home upgrades were being done. (John made us aware of the work being done before we started our trip so we knew about it) Contractors were better than alarm clocks. The house was very nice. Great view from the decks and the big picture windows. Got to listen to the birds every morning the frogs at sunset and watch the fire flies glow at night. Everything was there that we needed for our stay. Had a little problem with the well water, but it cleared up shortly. John told us about the best restaurants in the area and he was 100% correct. If you stay here, you must try the Flat Creek Resort and the Steak House. Well worth the wait! Everything one needs is close by. The Grocery Stores, Gas Stations, Hardware store. We got in some great riding too. Like I said, the weather was against us a little. Temps were high along with the humidity, but we managed to see some pretty country, experience the sharp curves in the roads and spend some time in the parks having picnic lunches. If we go back to Missouri, I would definitely make plans to stay here again.
This place is perfect. Owners are great to work with, the place is clean and new...and it's the best value in Shell Knob. They have added a huge new screened in, covered deck that is spectacular. We will be going back!
Nothing bad to say about this place. It's great! Clean, comfortable, great location, friendly owners. Plan to stay again and again. Thanks John and Denice see you next time!
Come back soon! Thank you guys!
The best steak place ANYwhere is south across the bridge and up the hill, Steak Inn (Get there early before they run out of their homemade croutons on the salad bar). The best onion rings on the planet (seriously) are found at Harlow's at Cambpell point. Drive to Campbell Point Marina (5 minutes left out of our driveway), or boat in and dock at Harlow's (Make sure you feed the giant fish and turtles around the dock). Pizza Hut on the water is in the cove directly below our house. (Dock in the Red Roof Courtesy Dock then walk up the the hill to Pizza Hut). Subway is across the bridge and to the left by car, or by boat dock at their green and yellow courtesy dock in the first cove east of the bridge on the south side of the lake. There's no need to pack food from home, Shell Knob's grocery store has everything you will need and probably cheaper. They also smoke slabs of ribs on weekends and sell them for $12, and they are good. Point 25 on the lake is a great place to take the kids swimming and for jumping off the bluff. Another great swimming/floating area is at point 21 and all the way to the back of the cove. Great areas on the lake to find smooth water for wake boarding are on the Kings River just south of the White, or SW on the White toward Big M Marina. Some of the world's best bass fishing is right here at Table Rock Lake. Take a front row seat to the annual Shell Knob Fireworks Display on July 4th from our deck. The always spectacular display is fired from a floating barge on the main channel of the lake below our house. Bike riding at Dogwood Canyon is 15 min away. Roaring River Fish Hatchery is a must see and is a 20 minute drive. While you're there, take the kids to the water slide built into the hill at the roadside ice cream store 1/2 mile from Roaring River. Eureka Springs, AR is 40 minutes away and is a very unique little town with shopping, sightseeing and a Zoo with nearly 100 Big Cats. Silver Dollar City, Branson and Branson Landing are all 50 minutes away.
