Sometimes you stay in a VRBO that is clearly a mere investment property without an eye for hospitality; not so with this property! The owners thought of everything from little snacks and extra toothpaste/toothbrush in case you forgot, to the fire pit, putt putt, and ping pong, so plush blankets and more. Everything felt very clean. We stayed here to go to a wedding at the RoseMary, and our young adult children cracked us by when they discovered that the garage had amazing acoustics so they went in there and sang the dwarves song from LOTR and the Halo theme song--great fun for all!

I wish it would’ve been cooler to enjoy the ping-pong table. Everything was wonderful. The house was so clean. Seating and beds were comfortable. AC worked great! I typically won’t walk around without shoes and I was totally comfortable doing that, and my feet were still clean afterwards. That’s a great testimony! The bathrooms were well stocked. Communication was fantastic. The town of McKinney is so cute. I’ll have to come back with my husband someday.

The cutest house. The best neighborhood. Minutes away from the Square, good food and good vibes. The Hosts were great and very accommodating. Also its very dog friendly. We will definitely look into staying here again for future visits to see our grandchildren.

They thought of everything so this was the most well equipped VRBO we have stayed in. Kitchen had everything we needed, beds and pillows are comfortable, the ping-pong table was fun, and they had a lot of games that made our down time really enjoyable with our family.

We had a lovely 2 night stay in this adorable house. We hosted a casual, rehearsal dinner with friends and family the night before our daughter’s wedding. All the guests loved the space and really enjoyed sitting on the back porch. The owners were super kind and very easy to work with. Very quick to respond. Check in and out was a breeze. Location is excellent and close to Chestnut square where the wedding was. We will definitely return.

Howdy! Apologies for the confusion. The home is pet-friendly, but the outdoor area for grilling was not previously completely enclosed and intended for dogs (it just had a short picket fence with lots of gaps). We added a new picket fence to provide an enclosed area, which we did not have before. We hope you consider The Texas Bluebonnet for your next stay in the area, with the pups!

Amazing Place and hosts!

The place is adorable, comfortable and clean. Hosts were helpful for a last minute booking request. All the necessities for a stay are provided and some convenient extras like coffee, board games and great TV options. I was remote working and the WiFi and desk set up in main bedroom was convenient and worked well. We will definitely choose it again when in the area visiting family.

Loved our stay here. It was a very comfortable house for our family.. a great room with a King bed room downstairs for the grandparents and great rooms upstairs for the rest of us. 8 all together. The location was perfect too .. close to the downtown district of McKinney and close to Walmart etc.. Was very nice. The only possible issue is if you are short the top kitchen cabinets are hard to reach .. otherwise it was a perfect home and very comfortable. We put the 500 piece puzzle together that was there and also played some other games provided.. Thank you for a great smooth stay!

Here's a little ditty about John & Diane, 2 Vrbo hosts doin' the best that they can! John & Diane went above and beyond to accommodate our 9 day stay in Mckinney for our wedding. We traveled with 3 dogs so initially the fence to the outdoor pet area was too short for our pups. They ended up adding an extension to the fence to accommodate our needs so we booked immediately due to the fence & super-fast responses. The check-in was very easy, the location was ideal for our wedding "home base" & very close to Historic Downtown, the rooms were spotless upon check-in along with a kind note and gift welcoming us for our special stay. The décor was absolutely stunning & captured the theme of our Texas wedding perfectly!John & Diane checked in with us several times throughout our stay to ensure we had everything we needed which we definitely did since they thought of everything for us for our extended stay. They even recommended pet-friendly places to go with our fur babies. When we return to McKinney, we will surely stay at the Texas Bluebonnet Home again. Thank you again John & Diane for your professionalism and kindness!

Great property, exactly as described in listing. Very well equipped house with coffee and creamer, lots of room, and on a quiet street. Was able to have 2 people working remotely while in town for a baseball tournament. Would definitely stay again.
