Advertised would sleep 12, yes it had beds for 12, but I guess we were to share towels , could be cleaner, food and trash under sofa cushions. Had to hunt for the WiFi password.
Location is convenient to shops and Cumberland Gap Park. The owner was quick to remedy a problem with the air conditioner. The house does have the amount of beds to sleep the listed amount of guests. The place would benefit from having enough bath towels for the number of guests it can accommodate. I took my own towels after reviewing a previous post. Extra toilet paper and plenty of hand soap in bathrooms would be nice as well. The other recommendation would be more chairs to eat at a table that can accommodate 6-8 people but not in its current location. There were two love seats in the family room, but not enough other seating for a family of more than 4 persons if wanting to relax and watch a movie. The bed in the front room (where the front door access is located) was awkward. A pullout queen sofa placed in the family/tv room would provide the extra bed as advertised and extra seating for that room. Then the front room could be used as a game or sitting/reading relax area. The fireplace that was hidden in the front room by the bed could then be a nice focal point with battery operated logs or candles. A daybed could then be put in that room for even more options for families. There was broken glass and nails/screws on back patio that my daughter swept out of way so kids wouldn’t get hurt. The yard is big and fenced which was nice. Patio seating would be beneficial with an umbrella for eating outside when weather allows.
