I was born and raised in the Netherlands and first came to Ontario as an exchange student in the late 1980s. I quickly fell in love with Canada—and with a Canadian!—and decided to make Elora my home. By profession, I’m a midwife, and I’ve always enjoyed welcoming people and helping them feel at ease. Hosting gives me the chance to share a little of the calm and beauty that drew me here in the first place. I take pride in creating a warm, relaxing space for guests to recharge and feel at home.
