All of us loved staying at Francesca’s VRBO. You can walk to the Vatican and enjoy cappuccino at La Florentino a restaurant downstairs on the corner. You will not regret booking this lovely property!

The Vatican Roof Garden apartment in Rome was the PERFECT place for our group. There were six of us (3 couples) and we stayed for 8 days. The location was great which allowed us to walk to most everything we wanted to do in Rome. Francesca the host was so easy to work with and communicated easily. We even worked with Francesca to have a professional chef prepare a wonderful dinner in the apartment for us one evening of our stay, which was fabulous. Very memorable trip - highly recommend the Vatican Roof Garden for your visit to Rome.

Perfect location

Our family of 6 adults appreciated the apartment was in a more residential area. We were a short walk to the Vatican and an easy Metro ride to the Colosseum, but enjoyed being away from the crowds. The multiple and well appointed bathrooms were especially nice. The beds were adequate.

Amazing location and accommodations

Locating the building then finding the apartment was challenging, but after that, it was perfect! The common area leaves very little seating, but once we decided to just gather around the dining table, that issue was solved. There is an amazing open market right across the street where you can find anything from food to clothing. Great restaurants we could walk to in minutes. We will return again on our next Rome adventure.

Vatican Roof Apartment Rocks!

Excellent location just outside tourist area near Vatican! Huge market across the street, many restaurants and bars near by! Huge apartment, clean, really excellent! Hosts were awesome, private chef rocked our dinner one night! Highly recommend if you’re going to see the sites of Rome, walked to Vatican and colosseum areas!

I love this apartment because it is very bright .
The Ceiling is almost 4 meters high.
The perimeter walls are almost 1 meter wide.
It is an imposing palace of the early 900s.
It is in a street in the center of Rome full of restaurant , cafeteria, banks , drugstore and shops.
3 minutes walking from the subway and few blooms from Vatican City.
