A family reunion is what brought us to this beautiful Grosse Pointe property. The location was fantastic and safe. It was in walking distance to restaurants, Trader Joe's and Kroger's. Also, we had access to a gated park on Lake St. Claire that has a swimming pool, children's play area and picnic spots with tables and BBQ grills.The house had lots of space to spread out and great gathering areas like the living room and dining room. There was a lovely screened in porch and deck area. The host was very responsive to requests and quick to respond.We've rented several homes in the past and found this property very clean and comfortable. One of the best so far. Very easy instructions on the home and clean up responsibilities at checkout.We'll definitely come back.

Overall it was a fine place to stay, in an area bereft of options. It was clean. It is an older house so accept some "character" - things like not many / poorly placed electrical outlets, lights not working (?), and general features of an older home. Towels in one bathroom cabinet were wet upon arrival, but that's not a huge deal. Host communication was pretty good. It's a solid place to stay if you want to be in GP.
