The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please put garbage & recycling containers by road if leaving on a Sunday or Monday. Always set out Monday night if staying over. Garbage pickup is early Tuesday Morning.
No cleaning fish inside the house. Use picnic table in front yard & clean throughly.
Pick up all your dog droppings & vacume hair up prior to leaving.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No Fireworks or water balloons allowed, Use of kayaks require a liability waiver be signed at check in.
Be respectful of neighbors. Quiet time 10pm-6am. If law enforcement is called, immediate eviction with no refund.
If bringing small children, They must be closely supervised by parents. If property needs to be childproofed let me know when you reserve the booking

The lake house is right on the water with beautiful views of the lake, the sunrise was incredible! The home was clean and ready for our stay, we especially appreciated the double bathrooms, coffee options and fully equipped kitchen along with being a pet friendly home. Tami was wonderingful to work with, we highly recommend staying when in the area.

This is the second year we’ve stayed at this property.It is a perfect spot for our family get togethers. Lake view, dock for our boat and kayaks are available .The property is super clean and the owners are very responsive to questions.Plan on coming back next year.

The only negative thing was we could not get any nfl games on. As only basic streaming. Otherwise everything was great!! Comfy beds, we kayaked and walked, also went to Leinenkugal brewery! And had a couple campfires.

We have been there 3 years in a row and left more detailed reviews previously. Booking it 3 years in a row is probably enough of an advertisement in itself, but I would like to add that they continue to improve the property. Coming here is hassle-free and a great experience.

Fun on Lake Wissota

We canoed daily on the lake and tributaries. Chippewa Falls is a great town that has several local stores to check out.Olson's Ice Cream is not to be missed. Don't forget to check out the white buffalo baby/daddy at Irvine Park (free). And there are several bicycle trails to explore as well. Our hostess and host were available to answer any questions

Another year of making memories with family. Tami is a wonderful host and quickly to respond. The house is a perfect size for our family. We enjoyed the evenings around the fire pit and looking out over the lake. We spent all 3 days on the lake in our boat fishing. It truly was amazing.

My husband and I purchased this home Nov 2019 from the estate of a man whom had fled Holland from the Nazis. He was very loved in this neighborhood. We fell in love with the views and location. We are continuously working hard to updated this home for us all to enjoy. We may possibly retire there one day. Jeff & I grew up in the area and have been married & part of this community for over 30 years.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with the views and location. It is also minutes from our home so we can assist if any issues or concerns arise.

What makes this property unique

Simple and clean but very enjoyable. Also Upper & Lower levels both have their own decks overlooking beautiful Lake Wissota. They each also have their own kitchen, bathroom, living room and bedroom areas. If you want privacy while staying with others you can stay in the lower level and visit others in the upper level when convenient. You also have your own side of the dock to use kayaks, paddleboat & dock your boat, other side is reserved for owner.
