Located on Frenchman Lake in the tiny village of Trout Lake, MI. This cozy King motel room sleeps up to 4 people, max. 2 adults and 2 children. With 1 king bed, 1 full size futon sleeper and coffee table. Guests will spend their time at Twin Cedars Resort relaxing after a day of fishing or exploring the many area attractions including Tahquamenon Falls, Mackinac Island, Whitefish Point and the Lighthouse Shipwreck Museum, The Soo Locks and many others. Room #6 features beautiful wood furniture and finishes with an “up north vibe.” Recently updated bathroom area with full tub/shower, soap and shampoo included. Wall mounted flat screen television with Direct TV. Small coffee maker with coffee and disposable cups included, microwave, mini fridge and private extended patio with outdoor table and chairs, a well-maintained Weber gas grill with cooking utensils and electric griddle pan. All bed linens and bath towels are included – replenished as needed and upon request. Free WiFi available throughout the resort. There's a long fishing dock with chairs that extends into the lake and includes the use of 1 row boat with an upgrade option for trolling or gas motor as a daily or weekly rental. Also available to rent are kayaks and pontoon boat. Or explore the lake on our small paddle boat. We do supply life jackets and boat cushions. We are a small, family owned resort close to hiking and side by side trails. We offer nightly campfires (weather permitting) located on the patio by the waters' edge. Keep an ear out for our local common loons and a watchful eye for the majestic eagle family that nests near the lake. This area is home to many wildlife, if you're lucky enough to spot them.
