The house is great! Lots of space, comfortable, clean, and beautiful! We loved spending time on the dock, in the pool and lanai area, the game room, the kayaks… everything we needed was there. Ivan and Jana have thought of everything you might need and it’s all there waiting for you. They even left a personal note and some local treats as a welcome. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to this area!

Excellent stay! This house has everything you could want - quiet location, beautiful sunsets, all the amenities you can possible need, very clean, near stores and restaurants, several table games, heated swimming pool, sauna, pool table/ping pong/air hockey/foosball/kayaks/paddle boards - all in good condition. Nice dock with chairs and shade in clear water. Well maintained beach area with chairs and fire pit. Beds are amazing. Kitchen is well stocked. Host is super nice and responses quickly. This is an excellent house for anywhere and is the absolute best in this area. Highly recommend!

My name is Ivan, I am originally from Colombia but have lived in Florida since my early childhood. I am in IT by profession, but my hobbies include just about everything that happens outdoors, such as boating, fishing, kayaking, camping, hiking, off roading, shooting sports and SCUBA diving, just to name a few. The main reason I enjoy being a short term rental host: since we purchased our vacation home, we knew that we would not be using it ourselves the majority of the time. We really love spending time at our lake house, and wanted to share our home with others, so that they can have the same experience we have when we spend time there.

Why they chose this property

The main reason we chose Lake Placid was because this area was where my wife would come with her family as a child to water ski and fish with her dad. We have since really fallen in love with the relaxed atmosphere and the people. Not to mention the breathtaking sunset views from our own back yard.

What makes this property unique

Since we use the lake house ourselves, it is fully equipped with everything you need. Just bring your clothes, don't forget your bathing suits, and groceries and you are all set to have an amazing stay with home cooked meals from our fully equipped kitchen. All linens, towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, full laundry room. indoor games like ping pong, air hockey, foosball and a pool table. We also offer use of kayaks and paddle boards, and even provide life jackets for your safety. Bring your water toys and enjoy our amazing clear water lake and sandy beach.
