Visit Springfield in comfort, when you stay at this cozy, nice, beautiful vacation rental on the second floor apartment located in the Forest Park neighborhood, conveniently close to the Library , Downtown, Springfield museum, and colleges. Easy access to the highway and public transportation. Also, it’s about 20 minute away from Bradley international airport.
Come and enjoy Home away from home

Guest have access to all the areas in the home. This includes the kitchen, dining room, two living-room, two full bathrooms and six bedrooms.

Apartment is a few minutes away from the bank, CVS, and Walgreens at the x. Feel free to ask me about renting space for special events - My house is ideal for birthdays, graduations, friends & family gatherings and retreat packages for small business, artist and wellness retreats.
- Additional guests are allowed but please let me know beforehand. No surprises.
* Additional fee may be applied; $50 for additional guest after 7 people and $50 for additional cleaning fees. And $150 fee for any event!

Just Updated:
I now provide a 14-passenger (15 including driver) van & a 5 -passenger 2009 Nissan Murano that is both ideal for any events such graduations, weddings, parties, sport events, church services, funerals, and etc. I can also provide a driver if needed! It fitted it our needs as our staff needed a place to stay for our 4 day event. We didn't do any cooking even though it was a pretty nice kitchen. We could your typical street sounds but it was easy to tune it out. I would definitely stay here again if we have another large scale event to attend!

All that a big group needs

Brought the kids and grandkids to six flags. This rental was a short drive. We had a group of eight and everyone had plenty of room. The place was clean stocked and as advertised. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely stay again.

Family Stay

The property is as advertised. If you have a lot of people that just needs a place to sleep and collect yourseves, this is a wonderful place fir the price. The owner is a pleasure to work with and very responsive. Also met some of the neighbors and it is reassuring that they all watch out for one another.

Family Wedding

We booked this apartment to attend a family wedding. There were 13 of us ranging from 2 1/2 to 70 years old. The apartment had enough beds and bedrooms for us all. It was very clean and well stocked. We would stay here again.

Pretty good for group

Cute space and convenient location to a pretty park nearby. Parking was easily accessible. Nice washer and dryer and spacious kitchen. Host responded to text message quickly. Dishes did need to be rewashed to be used, and the fridge was loud, making it difficult for guests in the bedroom nearby to sleep.

Lots of room in clean well equipped home

we had 11 folks from 2-72 years of age and the place worked great. Rose was a great communicator and her place was clean, quiet and well equipped ie, cookware, appliances, tableware, a great clothes iron etc. lots of stores, restaurants etc nearby as is a great park but most not in walking distance. Hidden gem

The property was perfect for all 7 of us adults an we still had another bedroom we didn't use! 2 balconies for use, washer and dryer, full kitchen etc. The only thing that was a let down was no tvs in the bedrooms but, not unheard of! The property was absolutely beautiful inside. The neighborhood is right near forest park in Springfield. It was perfect for us. The dining room table had more thsn enough room for us to eat as well!

Reunion

The pictures were just what we had. The house suited all of us perfectly. The only recommendation I would have is to please post a list of where trash is, how to sort and what should be done at the end of stay. Other than that, the house was great. Rosa was very willing to help with any issues. Thank you so much for making our family reunion an enjoyable experience!

Family gathering for Christmas. Property is on second floor and did not notice that on listing. Check in also was not clear that there was first floor entry and different lock box and entrance for second floor so very confusing at checkin. Listing also mentioned hot tub never found a hot tub. One burner on stove only worked on hot and toaster did not work on one side. Place was clean.

Suited our needs well

The space worked well for our large group. We all had comfortable, private bedrooms, enough bathrooms, a large kitchen, and plenty of space to hang out and socialize (the kids were in the TV room while adults played games at the large dining room table). The only issue was the place smelled strongly of marijuana due to downstairs neighbors. This didn't detract from our stay, but we did have school-aged children with us so it wasn't ideal and I wish I had known in advance (was very surprised when it wasn't mentioned in any reviews). The location was definitely more urban, the upside of which was we were up late playing games, probably loudly, and no one really minded. But if you're looking for a quiet, suburban experience, this won't be the right fit.

Mixed review

The house was clean, the beds are comfortable, and Rose responded quickly. However, there was no heat in one bedroom and though Rose immediately tried to address the problem, it didn’t get fixed. We asked for a refund for that room only for two nights (on the third night she provided a space heater) but she refused. Not all of the bedrooms have bedside tables or bedside lamps and there was broken furniture with a sign saying not to use it. There are no racks to hang towels. The radiator pipes clang throughout the night, but the neighborhood was generally quiet.

Dear Susan, Thank you for your review, I appreciate you taking time out of your day to write this. To address your complaints, the heating system was just installed last week so you may hear sounds coming from it that shows that the heating is working properly. When me and you talked over the phone, you complained that the house was too hot. Therefore, I mentioned to you that the heating is a brand new unit & explained how to control the temperature. I even offered to have my maintenance guy come in and help you all, which he did. The next day, you called and complained that the house was too cold and had him come back. I was later told that you all turned off the heating in that particular bedroom. Even on top of your issues, I don’t allow any pets into my property to assure that things won’t get scratched or broken but, I bended the rules for you all so I could accommodate you guys. Also, all rooms have lamps and bedside tables, the tables come with a built in light so, I’m not too sure on what you’re talking about. As for the furniture that was broken, that particular furniture is meant for bedding storage, not for sitting. As for the racks to hang towels, there’s laundry baskets that meant for holding anything dirty. Your description of my property isn’t a 100% accurate but, I’m glad I got the chance to meet you and your family. I wish you all a happy new year. Warmest Wishes, Rose

Disgusting and dangerous

I don't even know where to begin on this whole process. First of all, the pictures are very misleading to say the least. Front door picture is not even the real front door trying to avoid the broken down car next to it in a very sketchy neighborhood. You walk in and it absolutely reeks of marijuana and smoke. So bad my daughter felt sick after walking through the house. Called the owner and she came over and said she didn't not smell anything - complete lie. And then when you walk around the place it has glade spray bottles everywhere, yankee candles all over and smell packet under air conditioners and in all closets trying to mask the smell. Empty beer bottles everywhere on back porch and cigarette butts all over front porch. This place is disgusting and would not recommend this to anyone. We left immediately and went to a hotel. No help from VRBO or owner and I will never recommend this place to anyone nor will we use VRBO ever again.

Good space for a group to meet and work

We had a group of graduate students doing field work in Holyoke. This was a good base for us to meet where everyone got their own rooms and we had common areas in which to work together.

Good for large group

Rose was great and very responsive. The door to the apartment is located on the left side of the building. We were unsure if we were able to utilize the driveways so we parked on the street. There is a code for keys but the lock was extremely hard to turn. Once we got it, it was good. Looks newly redone. Paint, floors, new appliances, and 2 newer bathrooms. There were plenty of places for people to sleep. One room had a full crib which was a nice touch. I don’t know much about the neighborhood but I wouldn’t walk the street at night. There is a zoo a few blocks away but didn’t stop. Just drove by. Overall it was a good stay for the night. The taxes and fees made the price on the higher side compared to other vbro/ abb we’ve rented with similar or better accommodations. The kids like the unique layout and the washer and dryer were great for packing clean clothes to go home. We would rent again if we were with a large group and needed several beds.

After each guest, I wiped down every surface with CDC-approved disinfectant and washed all beddings in HOT water.

Home away from home that is cozy, peaceful, and spacious! Forest Park is only a few minutes away from this peaceful home!

Attractions: Forest Park's Bright Nights, the Big E, the MGM Casino in downtown Springfield, the Basketball Hall of Fame, Six Flags New England, Springfield College, AIC, Western New England University, Bay Path, and others.

To enter the property, you have to go up a few flights of stairs which may be hard to accommodate any guests with special needs!
