The Plantation House is a luxury holiday home located in the Beachfront Mirage Estate, Port Douglas.
The property is a short walk to the beach, shops, cafes and restaurants, whilst still providing the guest a private, tranquil, tropical oasis.
The property features downstairs, an expansive flowing kitchen, living and decks areas, with a separate media room. 5 x bedrooms are located on the first level, with accommodation for 10; 2 x oversized King rooms and 1 x Queen room, all have spacious ensuites and walk in dressing rooms, plus 2 x King single rooms, (ie 4 x king single beds or 2 x King beds if joined), sharing a bathroom.
The property features ceiling fans and air conditioning throughout along with folding doors opening the entire downstairs living area to a wrap around deck.
Lush tropical gardens include a private pool (heated in cooler months) and a covered cabana area beside the pool. The property features a full size semi-private tennis court, shared with 1 x neighbouring property only.
The Plantation House is perfectly suited for your luxury stay.

Family Reunion

A long booked family reunion in Port Douglas almost fell apart when a previous booking was cancelled with only weeks out so there was a scramble to find a suitable guaranteed 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom family home at short notice. This property suited the purpose but at 50% higher cost. The home was clean (which can be difficult to maintain in the tropics) and very roomy. In fact many of the rooms were intimidatingly large. The family rooms and the outdoor areas were well appreciated and the young kids couldn't get enough of the heated pool. The days seemed to be - morning at the beach (5 minutes away, although the patrolled area was more like 15 minute walk) with afternoon in the pool. The (shared) tennis court got some attention too. All told it was a successful holiday but I did wonder about the cost.

Plantation House

We had a wonderful week staying at the Plantation House. The house was beautifully appointed and very spacious. There was ample room for our large group. The pool was heated and well maintained as was the tennis court. Great location with a short walk to the beach and felt very secure in this quiet gated community. Highly recommend this property.

Great house for 2 families

Plantation House is a great house for 2 families, with plenty of living space indoors and out. The pool and tennis court were very popular, and it's a short walk to the beautiful beach. It's a 20 minute walk into the main strip which was fine in Winter, but could be a challenge in Summer heat and humidity. Might need to use the local shuttles. The host was great to deal with, and quickly responded to a small maintenance request. We would be very happy to stay here again.

Amazing home with everything you could want

Awesome amenities. Plenty of room for 2 families Great location 5min walk to the beach. 15 min walk into town via the beach Tennis court, pool and bikes were sensational to keep our teenagers busy! We would highly recommend this beautiful home.

This house was perfect for 5 couples and 3 infants. The the tennis court was an added bonus that wasn't on the Stayz listing. Huge house with great areas to relax and 1 minute drive to PD.

Fabulous family house

Overall I think the property is actually better than the photos show. Location is great, the house is very big, more than enough space for our 6 adults and 4 children to relax very easily. It's very well equipped, modern, and our host gave us a very thorough introduction to everything. Would definitely stay here again.
