Liked: Check-in, communication
Disliked: Location, listing accuracy
Curb appeal was lacking - the exterior wood and front door need painting. Yardwork is needed on the front and back, which was overgrown. The inside was clean, except for the large stain on the couch. The tubs in both bathrooms need to be replaced ASAP. I shared more feedback with the owner, but got a generic response back so not sure if it was actually received. I would not rent this home again.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
We were a group of four that came in for an event. We arrived, changed clothes, went to the event, came back and slept, and left first thing in the morning. For the stay we did, the place was sufficient. It is in need of updating and painting. I communicated a few things to the owner, such as the listing says garage parking and there is no garage. The sofa needs cleaning badly. She thanked me for the comments, and said they would address them. As for the cleanliness of the things that can be cleaned, it was clean.
I would recommend this house for future stays, but there were three issues: 1. the house smelled like pot. I was concerned that the homeowners would think we were smoking. It was not us. 2. It was 48 degrees and there were only sheets on the bed and not a blanket in the house. We arrived at the house very late and, I'm sure, if we had contacted the owner, blankets would have been provided. But it was just too late to make that request. There is a step down into bedroom #2. Both my parents missed the step and fell into the wall. I would recommend marking the stepdown. Cute decor. Bedrooms were a good size.

We’re only giving 2 stars only because they accommodated a later checkout.Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this property. The home was not clean upon arrival and did not match the listing photos. We found questionable stains on the couch, black mold in the shower, and what appeared to be roach droppings inside the kitchen cabinets, among several other cleanliness concerns. Overall, the condition of the property was far below expectations and did not feel suitable for guests.Honestly, camping in the rain would have felt cleaner.
