About this property

Our mountain retreat is split level with 3 full stories. Common areas make gatherings easy but completely private bed and bathrooms give everyone their space. The entire unit has just been remodeled with new appliances and decor. The rooms are spacious and the end-unit windows allow lots of natural light. Each bedroom has a completely private bath. The Master Suite has Tempurpedic King bed with its own mini-fridge and coffee service. Master bath is particularly spacious and includes Steamist steam shower. All bedrooms have cable TV and the living area has large plasma screen with state-of-the-art sound system, Comcast Xfinity cable and blu-ray player. Full size washer and dryer are centrally located to allow easy access for all guests. The kitchen is fully stocked with All-Clad cookware, crock-pot, drip coffee maker (a Keurig resides in the Master Suite), toaster, mixer and everything needed to prepare home-cooked meals. For those who prefer to make reservations, there are some truly excellent restaurants in town (a short bus ride) and on the mountain within walking distance.

Great place to stay!

Loved the condo - plenty of space, great location and has the added bonus of lockers and ski storage at the base of the mountain. A wonderful week of skiing!

Cozy, clean, accommodating - perfect home away from home

If you’re looking for a comfortable, inviting, and well kept home away from home, you won’t be disappointed here. Especially for a group of couples, the segregated spaces and numerous bathrooms/bedrooms guarantee both privacy and comfort while still providing ample social gathering space for cooking, family style dinner, movie nights, group board games, etc. The rooms themselves are cozy, clean and comfortable and the condo is furnished with warm western mountain town decor that gives it endearing character and charm - certainly more than you’ll find at your standard hotel stay. The host is also kind and attentive, quick to respond to any questions or concerns that arise. All in all, a wonderful experience and highly recommend to couples or families looking for a memorable steamboat stay.

Great Location for Hitting the Slopes

This place had a great vibe with more than ample room for all six of our party. Everyone had their own separate places to hang out....and the short distance to the great skiing was fantastic! Can't beat the short skip up to the bus stop for a very brief ride to the base!! Would absolutely stay here again. P.S. Loved the pizza so much at Antonio's we had some brought over to the base on our second day for a lunch break from skiing.

A Mountain Town Gem

This cozy, very clean and well equipped condo was a welcomed retreat !! Each level in this condo lead to separate comfortable bedroom areas with their own bathrooms. The kitchen seemed to have everything and we liked the gas bbq for steaks in the evening. The access to Steamboat ski area was a snap. We walked a short distance out our front door and caught the shuttle to the main resort area. We will return to this condo and ski area in the future 😃

Weekend ski trip

Our group of 8 really enjoyed our stay at this condo. The kitchen was well organized and stocked, and we enjoyed cooking meals together. We appreciated staying at a condo where the owner clearly still uses the condo themselves, and it's not just a generic rental property (there was a sense of character in the place). The condo is an easy bus or car ride away from the mountain. We had a couple of questions for the host, and she was very responsive and helpful.

We are the Lesters, Randy and Kay, of Fort Worth, Texas. We made our first ski trip together to Steamboat Springs as college students (in 1977!!) We have enjoyed many trips to Colorado, both winter and summer, over the years of raising our five children. We are empty-nesters and purchased our condo with an eye to spending a great deal more time here in the near future. The arrival of our first grandchild in January 2015 gave us another generation with which to enjoy the mountain. Five more have followed making it a gathering point for parents, siblings and cousins.

Why they chose this property

Kay's sister and brother-in-law own another Herbage Townhome (VRBO #399021ha) and we decided to join forces in order to enjoy many future family gatherings in this idyllic setting. We knew our adult children would be able to enjoy it for years to come, as well.
