Why they chose this property
🌵 Historic Old Town Charm & Neighborhood Vibes
📍 Located in the beloved Plaza Vieja neighborhood near Old Town Albuquerque
Welcome to one of Albuquerque’s oldest and most storied neighborhoods—a place where history lives in the adobe walls and every street has a story to tell. Just steps from Old Town Plaza, this area has been a cultural and community hub for over 300 years.
🏘️ A Neighborhood Steeped in History:
• Nestled near where Albuquerque was founded in 1706, this neighborhood has grown up around the iconic San Felipe de Neri Church, historic homes, and cobblestone streets.
• Plaza Vieja (meaning “Old Plaza”) developed in the early 1900s, with many homes still showcasing original adobe architecture, thick plaster walls, and wooden vigas (beams).
• These very streets were once walked by Spanish settlers, Native American artisans, traders on El Camino Real, and later, by artists and entertainers drawn to Albuquerque’s creative pulse.
• Georgia O’Keeffe, Ansel Adams, and even celebrities like Bob Hope and Shirley Temple have spent time in Old Town over the years. More recently, scenes from Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul were filmed just blocks away.
