The house was very clean and in great shape. My family and I enjoyed our stay and would certainly choose this property again when visiting Albuquerque.
The house was great for our needs of our trip. We did not spend much time there during the day but it was great to relax with coffee in the morning and winding down in the evening.
Wonderful stay! Well equipped house with everything we needed to cook. Comfortable beds and lots of good books and games. Had all the little things like laundry detergent, dish detergent, extra trash bags and paper products we needed. If in the area again would stay here again.
The property was large and spacious. It's very well maintained and clean. Couldn't find instructions for the hottub, but we didn't use it. Instructions for the property was clearly stated. Enjoyed our stay.
We had a great stay! The house is very nice and clean! We would definitely stay here again. The neighborhood is safe and family friendly. Close to many restaurants.

About the host
Hosted by Jake Aragon
Hi, I’m Jake! I’ve lived in Albuquerque most of my life, and its wide-open spaces, mountain views, and unforgettable sunsets still make me appreciate calling it home. Sharing that experience with guests is one of the things I enjoy most about hosting.
Before becoming a host, I spent 27 years in retail management with a major retailer. That experience taught me to listen, anticipate needs, and pay attention to the details that make people feel welcome. Today, I bring that same care to preparing our homes and helping guests enjoy a comfortable, memorable stay.
My wife and I have been married for over 25 years, and we have two wonderful daughters. We love traveling as a family, whether we’re exploring somewhere new or relaxing by a lake, river, or beach. Our travels continue to shape my approach to hosting: I want to offer the cleanliness, comfort, thoughtful touches, and responsive communication I appreciate when I’m away from home.
I’m happy to share local restaurant favorites, suggest an outdoor adventure, or help with questions during your stay. I respond promptly to calls, texts, and emails while respecting your privacy and giving you space to settle in.
Many of our guests return year after year, and earning that trust means a great deal to me. Whether this is your first visit or a familiar return, I look forward to making you feel welcome in Albuquerque!
Why they chose this property
This was the second vacation rental I opened, and it remains a special part of my growing collection of homes. I chose this neighborhood because it’s where I live and chose to raise my family. I know it well, love its peaceful atmosphere, and enjoy sharing this part of Albuquerque with guests.
One of the city’s most desirable Northeast Heights neighborhoods, it offers established homes, nearby parks, and convenient access to restaurants, shopping, and outdoor adventures. It strikes the balance I appreciate when traveling: a quiet place to recharge without feeling far from everything.
Balloon Fiesta Park is approximately five minutes away under normal driving conditions, making the home especially convenient for Fiesta visitors. When weather and flight paths cooperate, balloons may float directly overhead—a sight that never gets old, even for a longtime local! During the event, allow plenty of extra time for traffic.
With I-25 less than a mile away, exploring Albuquerque or heading north for a day in Santa Fe is straightforward. Whether you’re here for family time, business, or adventure, I hope you’ll enjoy the same comfort and connection that made me choose this neighborhood for my own family.
What makes this property unique
What makes this home special is the combination of room to gather, thoughtful comforts, and a desirable Northeast Heights location close to Albuquerque’s favorite experiences.
After a day of exploring, unwind in your private hot tub, grill dinner on the shaded patio, or settle into the comfortable living room. Four bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and a half bath give family and friends space to spread out, while the downstairs primary suite features a king-size Sleep Number bed and a deep soaking tub.
Balloon Fiesta is a particular highlight. The park is nearby, and when weather and flight paths cooperate, balloons may drift directly over the home or land in the surrounding area. It’s a memorable experience, with a comfortable place to recharge between outings.
Walk to Tin Can Alley for local food and craft beer, or enjoy fresh air at nearby North Domingo Baca Park. Restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, and neighborhood favorites are close by, making both evenings out and relaxed nights at home easy.
For more adventure, explore the Sandia foothills, ride the Sandia Peak Tramway, or plan an outing to Sandia Resort & Casino for golf, dining, spa time, or entertainment. Convenient access to I-25 also makes this a practical starting point for exploring Albuquerque and planning day trips to Santa Fe, Cochiti Lake, or the Jemez Mountains.
