Cozy, whimsical perfection! We had a lovely stay at this home. It was within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. We loved the house- it was perfect for a weekend girls' trip, and we would definitely book again! Everything was spotless and ready for arrival. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Unbelievable charm in this place. And so many welcoming touches. Kevin and Melissa have created a home away from home that you won’t want to leave. Great place. Great host. Great time.
House was great Host was great City/Downtown was great Host offered recommendations and they were all spot on, if I am ever back this way I will be renting the home again 100%
Hat's off to Mod Piggy! This place is clean, in a nice neighborhood, is very well appointed, super comfortable beds, is about a 5 minute walk to downtown, perfect for a few days, or even longer. Really no reason I'd ever stay anywhere else when visiting McKinney in the future.
This is the perfect place to explore downtown McKinney and surrounding area. The house is adorable and better than pictured. The decor is modern but homey. The color scheme and decorative touch’s are spot on. The shades of green throughout are soothing. The kitchen is modern with good appliances. Not a lot of dishware, but plenty for a short stay (plus there’s a dishwasher:). The location is within easy walking distance of everything downtown has to offer (shops, dining, nightclubs). Would definitely recommend and would be happy to stay again.
Perfect, comfortable house for our stay. Easy check in and check out. The property was very clean.

About the host
Hosted by Kevin H Mansell
We live in a house built in 1913 that we have refurbished. We opened our home to the public in 2022 for the Christmas Holiday Tour and thoroughly enjoyed the experience, so we wanted to do that again with this cottage.
Why they chose this property
We chose this neighborhood because we also live close-by and wanted to share with everyone all of what attracted us to the downtown area. There are tons of shops, restaurants, pubs, festivals, and nightlife to enjoy.
What makes this property unique
This property is extremely convenient to the downtown square, where there are festivals year-round. It is located 3 blocks due north of the square and is very walkable. The property also is on a quiet street.
