Big Picture Farm ligger i kullarna i södra Vermont, en djurvÀlfÀrdsgodkÀnd getmjölk och prisbelönt gÄrdskonfektyr. Vi tillverkar ocksÄ hantverkskostar, hÄller bin, grisar och vÀrphöns, och tenderar att blomma och grönsaks trÀdgÄrdar, samt övervaka 100 tunnland betesmark, skogsmark och vÄtmarker - alla Àr mogna för utforskning oavsett Ärstid. Huset, med 8. 5 sovrum och 5. 5 bad, rymmer lÀtt grupper pÄ 2-20. För dem med ett kulinariskt intresse Àr köket vackert och stort och har modernaste apparater. Koppla av vid en av vÄra underbara eldstÀder efter middagen, eller dra dig tillbaka till det spredande dÀck för att titta pÄ solnedgÄngen över Peaked Mountain.

GÀsterna uppmanas att utforska vÄra 100 tunnland och besöka med vÄr flock getter. En kort promenad (cirka 50 fot) frÄn bondgÄrden Àr vÄr Barn och Creamery. Planera en "get hangout" och trÀffa damerna. PÄ vintern finns det oÀndliga lÀngdskidspÄr och snöskor lÀngs vÄr ytterdörr, och under andra sÀsonger lovar en promenad eller vandring i alla riktningar avkoppling och Àventyr.

Louisa och Lucas och baby-Maisie bor i ett separat hus tvÀrs över gatan, men Àr runt gÄrden för det mesta, liksom en personal pÄ fyra eller fem lantbrukare och creamery arbetare. Vi Àr upptagna, men vi Àr ocksÄ glada att sÀga hej och svara pÄ eventuella frÄgor.

Detta Àr ett aktivt mjölkfabrik med alla de verkligheter som följer med en sÄdan operation.

Magical Retreat

We selected the farmhouse for our annual college friends reunion with our families, which is made up of 10 adults and 10 kids, three and under. The house was absolutely stunning and more than we could have dreamed of. Even with 20 people, the house felt spacious. We really can’t say enough good things about the house. Huge kitchen, beautiful clean bedrooms with cozy bedding, more bathrooms than you can count, a huge yoga room the kids could run around in, and multiple sitting and dining areas. We will definitely be returning!

Big beautiful country home

We had a wonderful time here for the weekend. The house beautifully accommodated our family of 15, offering plenty of space to gather as a group and quiet places to read or hangout in smaller groups. And, the location is quintessential Vermont amongst little hills and open fields

Spectacular farmhouse for multi-family ski trip

We stayed at Big Picture Farm for a three family (all related) ski trip to Mt Snow. The house is very spacious, with plenty of rooms and beds for all the parents and kids/teens. There was plenty of room to cook and eat all together. Both the home and the surroundings were spectacularly beautiful and you can't miss the charm of seeing a herd of goats on your way out.

Gorgeous Farm and House

Big Picture Farm is truly amazing. The farm house is so beautiful and comfortable, the grounds are gorgeous, and even the barn cats are super friendly. It really was a special place to hold my coaching retreat and I think the atmosphere helped create a magical weekend. I can't recommend it enough and I wish I could move in!

Great to get away from it all

Louisa and Lukas are very easy to communicate with and responded quickly to any request that we had. We spent 4 nights there with a large group for my MIL’s 80th birthday and everyone had such a good time. Definitely take them up on meeting the goats, great experience :) We utilized the yoga room downstairs with a private yoga instructor and also the amazing kitchen with a recommended private chef for a birthday dinner. Bonus for anyone traveling with kids, the yoga room can double as a play area and they provided great toys that both my 1 yr old and 5 yr old loved playing with. Things to note: 1) there is no AC in the house so when you’re there in the summer it does get HOT during the daytime. 2) it is rural VT so expect to see some “nature friends” around. Thanks again for everything!

Fabulous place for a yoga retreat!

Within 20 minutes of arriving at the property, one of the participants said "I'm ready to sign-up for next year"!!! The Farmhouse is a perfect place for a meditative get-away. Here are some highlights of our 3 night stay: The "yoga studio" is large enough for 12 people to practice yoga comfortably. The kitchen is large enough for many people to pitch-in and help with food prep. The mattresses on the bed are super comfortable. The bathrooms are very nice, bright, and airy. The light in the Farmhouse is perfectly gorgeous. There are many places to perch and get comfortable by one's self, or in small groups. And great places to walk, visit the goats and other barnyard animals. Lousia and Lucas are great hosts and inspiring in their love for the spectacular area they choose to call home.

Winter weekend

We had a birthday weekend getaway for 7 couples. There was plenty of space for everyone to stretch out. The bedrooms were all clean and comfortable. Common areas cozy, but big enough for all of us! Working fireplaces were wonderful! We visited the goats and enjoyed complimentary chocolates and caramel. I think we will definitely be back! Thank you Louisa and Lucas.

Excellent Family Vacation

My extended family (9 adults, 4 children) spent the week of Christmas to New Year's Day at the Farmhouse and we had a wonderful time. The property was beautiful and the animals are friendly if you care to visit. The house was expansive and in great condition, so we all had plenty of space to relax with a book by the fire, watch a movie, or enjoy a great meal together. The location is close enough to ski at Mount Snow or visit other areas, but remote enough that you felt truly "away" from it all. Our hosts were excellent and responsive to all our questions. It was a great week and everyone in our diverse group enjoyed the trip. Thank you for a wonderful time!

Wonderful Family Gathering Spot

We planned a weekend getaway from NYC with a few other families at Big Picture Farm and had the most amazing time. The house is spacious yet comfortable with a wing for each family and fireplaces throughout. Our kids loved to run in and out while the adults gathered in the central kitchen and sunset viewing porch area nearby. Our excellent hosts, Lucas and Louisa, were helpful and responsive throughout. They even gave a tour of the farm with all of the goats, chickens and caramel making operation. We can't wait to take our group back in the fall.
