Welcome to The Alderwood Lodge, a one-of-a-kind retreat nestled on 40 private acres in Michigan’s beautiful Upper Peninsula. Designed for families, friends, and groups who want space to breathe and memories to last, our 3,000 sq ft lodge offers the perfect balance of rustic charm and modern comfort.

The Alderwood Lodge is part of our 6,000 sq ft barndominium but is fully private and completely separate from our living space. With its own entrance and no shared areas, guests enjoy total privacy while knowing we are nearby if needed.

Whether you’re here for a quiet getaway, a family reunion, or an adventure in the U.P., The Alderwood Lodge is the perfect place to gather, relax, and explore.

What a great place to stay in the UP. The host Adam was very helpful and seemed to be available at any time. It was 7 guys that stayed here for the weekend there were no issues with Bathrooms or beds which made this place ideal. The entertainment setup for viewing the game was perfect with the large living area and the kitchen/bar proximity. We are planning to come back next year for our annual gathering.
