This property was nothing as advertised. We left and found a hotel room accommodations for the 8 of us. We noticed the AC wasn’t adequate as soon as we opened the door. The floor was sticky in the kitchen and the whole house seemed dirty. The temperature was 80 degrees inside. We left to get dinner after adjusting the thermostat down and returned 90 minutes later to find that the house somehow felt hotter. We never stayed a night. None of the pictures online were a true representation of the reality of this house. Our first VRBO failure! Very disappointing that we have not received any reimbursement to date after 30 days and multiple texts. Have never had this happen with multiple trips under our belts in the past. The smell in this house was enough to turn us away.

I’m not sure why this is an acceptable VRBO property. We checked in but could not stay here, so we contacted VRBO Customer Service to cancel. The exterior of the property is very dilapidated. The air conditioning was not working. The entire place had a musty smell, the kitchen appliances were dirty, the basement was locked, there weren’t enough dishes and utensils for 8 people, and the exterior patio door was inoperable.

Horrible!!!! This house is disgusting. We refused to sleep in this house or sit down any of our luggage in fear of what we might bring back home with us. Bugs in the beds... body hair in the beds.... dirt everywhere. The house smells. The carpet is stained across the entire house. Every single picture is misleading and has been altered. I am pretty sure this house is about to fall down.... The exterior is misleading as well. The siding is about to fall off the house and the paint is pealing off. If all of that is not enough... We also had to drive around the neighborhood until the the Realtor was done showing the house. Yes, the house was being shown hours after our allowed check in time. Needless to say, if you decide you want to stay at this VRBO I am sure it will be available. No one will be buying this house unless the future plans with said house involves a bulldozer.
