Why the Owner Chose Birac-sur-Trec, France:
Get away from the hustle and bustle! Stay at this luxurious, calm and ultra comfortable Castle built in 1200 and fabulously renovated, with family or a group of good friends.
The Unique Benefits at this Castle:
Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property: This is truly like a grand castle complete with magnificent furniture, stone spiral stairs and fabulous gardens... For modern living the kitchen is spacious, the pool is clean and safe, and having so many en-suites is fantastic. There were 14 in our party but it was always possible to find a quiet corner to hide away and read. The village too is quiet - apart from the Church bells!! The supermarkets are only 10 mins away in Marmande and to be honest the Chateau is so wonderful we stocked up regularly and spent the majority of our days relaxing there. The property retained all its original character and is located in a very small village that is in open countryside. What for me was the most enjoyable aspect was the vast, formal garden and being able to sit out late into the evening eating and socializing in an absolutely fantastic environment. The caretaker was extremely helpful and friendly, villagers also friendly! The Chateau was 'magnifique', well furnished and equipped with wonderful grounds. The meals provided by the caretaker/chef were excellent.
