Pear Trees Cottage is a newly rennovated double storey property that nestles just a few minutes walk from beach on an exclusive West Sussex private sea estate in the quiet village of East Preston, close to the larger towns of Arundel, Littlehampton & Chichester. Ideal for families, the cottage is furnished to a very high standard and boasts a beautiful 360 degree private and secure garden. It is a fantastic place for adults and children to relax in either the comfortable sitting room, which includes satellite TV and WiFi or on the south facing large decked patio which enjoys the sun all day long. There is outside dining, barbecue, loads of room for the children to run and play in the gardens, a summer house, outdoor table tennis and a 12ft trampoline. For those with young families we have a high chair, travel cot, and plenty of childrens toys and garden games for them to enjoy.

The cottage is laid out over two floors covering 120sqm internally and furnished to a very high standard. Wood floors, leather sofas, luxury beds, oak dining table, satellite TV, WiFi, wood burning stove, massive decked patio, outdoor dining table, garden sofas, summer house, outdoor table tennis and a 12ft trampoline and all modern appliances to ensure your stay is comfortable. It is an ideal place for children. We have high chairs, buggies, travel cot & children' s toys. The garden is completely secure and has loads of space to play in, garden games for children including badminton are provided.

Beautiful, modern family house

We loved our stay in half term. The three boys enjoyed the freedom and facilities, especially the table tennis table, scootering to the beach and Chinese Resturant. Will be back.

A gem of a holiday

We've had an amazing week here. All the family have loved it. The kids enjoyed the outside space and played happily all day. It's been very comfortable and relaxing. We would not hesitate in coming back. Perfect for goodwood and the racing. The reema Indian restaurant recommended was a pleasant surprise as I myself particularly love a good curry. All in all a tip top week.

A fabulously comfortable, luxurious 'home from home' in an amazing location!

I spent a long weekend here in early June and really could not fault Pear Trees- we had a very relaxing and comfortable break!

As you enter the property, you immediately feel at home - it has been beautifully decorated in a 'beach' style, and the owners have provided pretty much everything you could need for a holiday by the sea. Bed linens and towels are high quality with comfortable beds and plenty of storage space for clothes, and the kitchen is very well equipped with plenty of bowls, pots and pans, crockery and glasses, as well as useful extra's such as blenders and a coffee maker. The living area has a huge table for dining (plus there is a table and BBQ for sunny days outside) and there was a large selection of games and DVD's available too. It was too hot to light the log burner, but I imagine it is really cosy once that gets going on a cooler day!

The outside deck and garden are outstanding - we were lucky to have a very sunny weekend and lazing on the deck and comfortable lounge furniture were an unexpected treat! We all commented on how peaceful and calm the area was - not even a lawnmower going...!

East Preston itself is a lovely, quiet village - we visited a local pub for drinks, the Seahorse café for latte's and the convenience store for a few essentials - everyone we met was very friendly and welcoming and you really have all you need within the small village just a short stroll from the house. The beach is also amazing - miles of pebbles and sand when the tide is out, and it's only 2 or 3 minutes walk away.

All in all, Pear Trees is a fabulous house in a great location and I would thoroughly recommend it for families wanting a truly relaxing and comfortable holiday by the Sussex coast.

Stunning house, perfect seaside location

We've been coming to stay at Pear Trees cottage for a few years now and this recent stay was the first since the rennovations. It's a beautifully designed and well equipped house ideally located near the beach and all the amenities in the village, never more than a few minutes walk to to everything you need. Our kids love playing in the garden, which is always well maintained. Will be back soon!

Had a fantastic week staying at Pear Trees with our 2 children. Cottage is well equipped for children, the garden was fantastic and it's really well located by the beach and the village centre. Look forward to coming back.

Fantastic home and garden in great location close to beach and amenities.

We had a wonderful holiday here, the house is clean, very tastefully decorated with all the home comforts you could need including a huge array of DVDs, books, games, a selection of children's indoor and outdoor toys, large trampoline and a table tennis table!

The garden is fantastic with a great space for children but equally relaxing areas for adults as well, plus sunshine all day!

The house is within 5 minutes walk of the beautiful local beach and 2 minutes from shops and cafes.

We had a very happy holiday here and wouldn't hesitate to return, particularly after the new extension has been completed which we are sure will only enhance the property further!

A luxury seaside cottage with a large private rear garden and decked patio. The house is situated a few minutes walk from East Preston beach and for the energetic there are many water sports available in the local vicinity, including, windsurfing, sailing and kite surfing. For those of you who want to discover the local attractions there is the beautiful town of Arundel, with its Castle and stunning Cathedral, the cultural town of Chichester and the cool vibe of Brighton all within half an hour. For race fanatics the courses of Goodwood and Fontwell are 20 minutes away. Restaurants, shops and pubs are a five minute walk from the property. For children, there is the Wetlands Bird Sanctuary in Arundel, Fishers Farm Park, Brighton Pier, and the fun fair and crazy golf at Little Hampton and lots more. There are many lovely local Sussex pubs for those who like to stop for lunch after walking on the downs.
