What a great landing spot. I was in town for work - this property was easy to walk to from downtown, comfortable to work and rest in. The thoughtfulness for amenities like basic breakfast items was really appreciated. I grabbed dinner across the street at Far East Tacos, which were delicious. I just wish I'd had more time to enjoy!
I had an outstanding stay at this VRBO in Washington, DC! From start to finish, Nate was an exceptional host. His communication was top notch — always quick to respond, attentive, professional, and incredibly friendly throughout the entire stay. The property was exactly as described, comfortable, and made my trip even more enjoyable. It’s rare to find a host who truly goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcomed and taken care of.I would highly recommend renting from Nate to anyone visiting DC. I would absolutely stay here again!
This little basement apartment had everything we needed and then some. We only stayed for one day to attend a concert at the 9:30 Club. Next time we're back in town, we'll definitely consider staying here again.Having breakfast items (including eggs!) was super convenient, and the electric fireplace was a nice touch!
This spot was an excellent stay. We were only there for one night but our host was incredibly welcoming and ensured we got any/everything we wanted or asked for. Provided small breakfast foods which was very kind. We had forgotten toothpaste so we asked the host if there was any chance they had any. In a matter of minutes, we had a small tube of toothpaste. The place was very clean and cozy. I would highly recommend to stay at this place. 10/10 for sure.
Great basement apartment in the NoMa area of DC. Its right near the college and only several minutes walk to Union Market or the M street NoMa-Gallaudet Metro entrance. Very convenient. We really enjoyed our stay. Nathan was nice enough to provide some breakfast options as well. The space was clean and modern with the bedroom being larger than what I could see in the pics. The bathroom was well designed with efficient use of space. With it being a basement apt, there were some low spots but at 5'10", I had no issues.I would highly recommend as the price point, location, planning and hosting are all top notch.
This was a great deal in the heart of DC. We were within walking distance (2 miles) to almost every major location we wanted to hit: Smithsonian museums, Capitol, National Mall, etc. The property is also located within half a block of a bus line and just a few blocks from a metro station as well, which made getting around town very convenient. The host went above and beyond in his communication with us and making sure we had an enjoyable and satisfying stay. Out of the twenty different short-term rentals we've had over the years, he is definitely the most attentive, responsive, and accommodating host we've ever had when traveling. The property is relatively small: perfect for a couple or small group, though we made it work with five of us. The kitchenette worked well for our needs, and we cooked dinner at home most days instead of eating out. There are at least four grocery stores within walking distance (Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Aldi, and Giant), which was more than satisfactory.I definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to visit DC. The prime location, excellent hosting, thoughtful setup, and very reasonable price make it well worth it.
I had a great experience at this garden suite. The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location is incredibly convenient, just a quick walk to Union Market with amazing restaurants and the NoMa Metro is close by, which made getting around super easy. Check in was smooth, and the host was very responsive and welcoming throughout my stay. The suite felt quiet and private, which was perfect after a long day at work. Everything was well-kept and thoughtfully stocked, which made it feel like a home away from home.Overall, I’d absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!
