Perched atop our grand 19th-century mansion, the New Victorian Penthouse is a private full-floor apartment that once served as the sleeping quarters for the estate’s staff. Today, it’s a charming and cozy retreat—perfect for families or groups of friends seeking a unique and spacious getaway.
This third-floor walk-up includes four bedrooms:
Dayton Room – Queen bed
Grand Room – Two twin beds
Summit Room – Queen bed
Marshall Room – Queen bed
Guests enjoy a bright living room with rooftop views of the St. Paul Cathedral—ideal for watching both sunrise and sunset—a full kitchen, and laundry room. The unit also features one shared bathroom with double sinks, designed for comfort and convenience during group stays.

We are generally staffed from 4 - 6 PM and from 8:00 - 11 AM. Enjoy your morning with check-out at 11AM. We live on-site in our separate family residence and are available by phone outside the regularly-staffed hours.

What makes this property unique
We are one block from the Metro Transit 21 bus stop which you can easily take the short trip west to downtown St. Paul or ride east all the way to Minneapolis.
This is a very walkable neighborhood with many shops and restaurants nearby.
Otherwise Lyft and Uber are the easiest options for further trips.
We have a parking lot available for our guests, one spot per room.
