The Fox Tail is a serene, organic retreat on 2.5 acres just minutes from Sequoia National Park. Thoughtfully designed with an earthy, minimalist feel, the home features curated details, cozy comforts, and photographs of the park by a local artist—all crafted to let the surrounding landscape take center stage.

This 2-bedroom, 2-bath home invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with the quiet beauty of nature.

Upper and lower deck
Step outside onto a beautiful wooden deck overlooking the natural landscape — the perfect spot for sunrises, stargazing, or quiet conversation.

C h i l d S a f e t y

Due to the following features, we have some child safety requirements for guests who have children. If you choose to book, you are agreeing to our requirements. The features and requirements are explained as follows:
There is an elevated deck and seasonal creek. Please review listing pictures. We highlight these features for those who have small children, so they can evaluate if the home would be a good fit for them and their family. If parents decide it is a good fit and decide to book, parents must follow these rules:

1. Children must never be left unsupervised. The property is vast and includes a seasonal creek. If the child/children are very young, they need to be in their parent's arms. A portable playpen is available upon request for children less than 35" in height. The child/children must remain supervised even if they are in the playpen.

2. Never any climbing on railings or on outdoor furniture/barstools.


C l e a n l i n e s s

We kindly ask guests to treat The Fox Tail with care and leave the space in reasonably tidy condition. If the home is left excessively dirty beyond normal use—including the presence of blood, vomit, or other bodily fluids—an additional cleaning fee may apply to cover the extra time and specialized products required for cleaning.


G r o u p S i z e

Although we prefer to keep the group size to four people, we know that some families are larger. Please message us if you happen to have more than four in your group and we will see if we can accommodate you.

There is a fee for additional people after the allowed four covered in a reservation. The extra person fees are $50 per extra person per night.

In addition, we have two front facing exterior cameras. A doorbell camera located at the front entrance of the home, and a camera facing the parking area. We also provide complimentary high speed Wi-Fi (500 Mbps).
Guest access

The entire space is yours to enjoy with the exception of the hallway closet.

Please note: In keeping with our natural setting, the home uses well water. At times, you may notice a light sulfur scent—this is a normal, naturally occurring characteristic of the area and is safe for use. We maintain the filtration system regularly to ensure quality and comfort.
