Construction special(20% off) August 2nd - October 31, 2025.. We are building a guest house at the front of the property. There will be builders on site 8:00 am -4:00 pm. No construction happening to this house, just some potential building noise.

Note: As of March 24, 2024 the pool is not included in the apartment rental. If you would enjoy a private pool the main house or Villa are excellent Casa Familia options.

Lots of parking on site. Most people dont rent cars because West Bay beach is a short walk(3-5 minutes) and water taxis to West End easy to find at the beach.

The walking estimate you see on the Airbnb app is incorrect (they don’t map the walking route correctly), we are a 3-5 minute walk to a fantastic west bay beach access. Our short street literally ends at the beach.

We have a local property manager. We are typically not at the property when guests are there.

Emerald beach is a quiet (mostly expat) community close to West Bay beach. It does have a very local feel, it is a neighborhood, not a "planned" community.

A fantastic center beach access point (beside the Henry Morgan resort). It is an easy walk to all the amenities of West Bay and an easy water taxi to the West End.

Foldable beach chairs supplied at the house and other chairs closer to the public beach.

Guests of Casa Familia enjoy special discounts at Gula restaurant (beside Henry Morgan) great Italian food and wine selection (great quality at very reasonable prices). Arrange reservations through our property manager to enjoy the discounts. There is also discounts available for their daily beach club pass.

Also nearby Casa Familia guests can enjoy complementary beach chairs at Beachers Restaurant (with food/drink purchase (small charge on tues - Thursday).

The road from the beach to the house can be dark and has little traffic at night so please take the LED flashlights provided in the house with you.

Easy walking distance to West Bay beach (Henry Morgan access point). From the beach you can catch a water taxi to the West End where there are even more shops and restaurants.

Car rentals are easily available, we can refer you to them (about 80% of our guests do not rent cars, at least for the entire stay). Some rental companies will bring the car to the house for you.
