"We recently enjoyed a wonderful week at Seagrove Retreat. So many activities from kayaking (singles/doubles with paddles provided) , great snorkeling nearby (gear provided), paddle boards, swimming in the pool or off the dock. Which is always refreshing. Junior, Franklin and/or Tommy (care takers, who are the best!) can arrange most anything you need. From shuttle to and from the airport, to stopping by a large grocery store, and boat taxis. Call Marvin for a boat trip down the coast line (highly recommend this) , or lunch at Hole In The Wall for lunch or other places. Spend your happy hour fishing from the deck of the casita or dock. Mostly small fish so for us catch and release, but much fun. Early in the morning you will see the school bus boat pick up children and a fisherman came by the dock to sell us lobster. Seagrove Retreat is peaceful and quiet, always a breeze so sitting on any of the decks provides a perfect place to relax and enjoy the view. The houses are tastefully decorated and furnished with all your needs. All was well maintained and clean. Make sure you stock up at the grocery store as Seagrove Retreat is in a beautiful secluded area, with a rocky road and steep hill to get in and out. There are a fair amount of stairs on the property, we just viewed it as daily exercise. The owners Paul and Julie are delightful and will answer all your questions. Looking forward to our next trip to Roatan and would definitely stay here again!"

  • Could not ask for more!

"We spent a fantastic week in this luxurious vacation home with friends, and my only complaint would be that we should have stayed longer. Everything about this property was beyond our expectations, from the breathtaking views from the moment you enter, to the beauty, comfort and functionality in every room. Everything from the view of the ocean through the garden doors in all three master bedrooms in the morning, to the star-filled skies as you lay on lounge chairs on the terrace in the evenings, makes you feel as though you are in heaven from the moment you open yours eyes in the morning till you close them at night. The kitchen must have been planned by a chef because it lacked nothing. You actually almost preferred to stay in for dinners than dine out, although we did dine out a few evenings and the restaurants on the island were fabulous as well. Countless hours were spent in the infinity pool having cocktails and enjoying the amazing views. The island has the most beautiful beaches and the clearest ocean waters we have ever experienced. A must go to island for everyone and especially for divers and snorkelers! In summary, this home has all that you could possibly ask for and more, to provide a relaxing, private, fun-filled vacation for friends, families or couples looking to spend some quality vacation time together."

  • Truly spectacular!

"We booked this property and had high expectations as the pictures were fantastic. Our expectations were exceeded . The attention to detail in this house was exquisite, and I cannot imagine a better layout for a house . When I was really impressed with was how secluded it felt while only being a 2 to 3 minute drive to West Bay.... how secluded it felt while only being a 2 to 3 minute drive to Westbay you feel like you are on your own island when you're at this house. The Oceanview is better than what the picture show and the tropical gardens that surround the house were delightful. We saw tons of butterflies lizards and even a few you hummingbirds. The beach at the bottom of the hill surprisingly had good snorkeling although it was difficult to enter the water so only do so if you are an experienced snorkeler.....only thing to be aware of is that bats come out at night making a night swim in the pool unadvisable.....we will certainly be comming back!"

  • The place to be on Roatan!

"Staying in Keyhole Bay was awesome! 24 hour security, water you can drink, and back up generators take away all of the normal concerns of staying on Roatan and let you enjoy why you came here in the first place. Beautiful views, private setting, with a huge pool and a private beach gave us our own piece of paradise. We coordinated to get a rental car through the group we booked this property from and they were waiting at the airport for us and lead us all the way to the property and carried our bags for us. The King size bed was very comfortable."
