Nature & Environment One of the most memorable parts of staying in a Broken Bow cabin is being surrounded by nature. Because this property is located in a wooded setting, guests may encounter wildlife and seasonal elements during their stay.
Deer, squirrels, raccoons, turkeys, and other native wildlife are commonly seen throughout the area. The cabin is professionally treated for pests, though occasional insects such as spiders, mosquitoes, beetles, ladybugs, or wasps may still appear, particularly during seasonal transitions or rain.
During spring months, pollen from surrounding pine trees may collect on outdoor surfaces despite cleaning efforts before arrival.
Keeping doors and screens closed whenever possible helps maintain a comfortable indoor environment throughout your stay.
We encourage guests to enjoy the peaceful surroundings while remaining respectful of neighboring cabins and the natural environment. Sound travels easily throughout the forested area.
What To Bring We recommend bringing groceries, condiments, cooking oils and seasonings, personal toiletries, coffee and creamers, bug spray for mosquitoes and ticks, ice, and firewood with fire starters for the outdoor firepit.

The space was amazing for our large group! Kitchen was fully stocked which made our cars of appliances seem crazy (but most places don’t have pots/pans). Also the entire kitchen storage was amazing we were able to put all our food in the cabinets and have the counters clear! The play set outside was great for our range of kiddos ages and the hot tub was great for the adults!

Response from VrboOwner on Jun 15, 2026
Thank you for the feedback — I’m very sorry your stay was impacted by the hot tub, grill, two TVs, the door code issue, and a leaking fridge. That is well below our standard. Once we were made aware, our team addressed the problems and we also updated our check‑in procedures to prevent door code issues going forward. Please message us through your Vrbo reservation so we can follow up and make this right.
