Step into your private backyard and feel the landscape wrap around you. The south-facing pool and spa capture uninterrupted mountain views, perfect for slow mornings, sun-drenched afternoons, and twilight swims under Joshua Tree's famous starry night skies. The two additional bedrooms are equally thoughtful, offering queen beds and smart TVs with shared access to a full bathroom complete with standing shower and double sinks. There is an additional half bathroom off the kitchen for easy access before dinner or after the pool.

Alba is situated in North Joshua Tree in the Sunfair Heights neighborhood, just 7 minutes from the shops and restaurants of downtown Joshua Tree. All homes in this area are on acreage, giving guests wide open space and privacy.

Getting Around:
A personal vehicle is necessary to get around in this area - rideshare apps are not guaranteed.
Please note that Alba is in a remote location, and the last 1.4 miles to the home are dirt roads, so please take it slow. The dirt roads are maintained, and a four-wheel drive car is not necessary, but please note that the dirt road conditions vary and may have bumps and ruts, particularly after rainstorms.
Other Things to Note:
-Pool Heating Fee-
If you’d like the pool heated to 84°F, please let us know at least 24 hours before arrival. A daily fee applies due to high fuel costs. If heating for multiple days, days must be consecutive. Pool heating is usually not needed from May through September.

*No fee to heat the hot tub!*
-Pool Heating-
Only one of the pool or hot tub can heat at once. If you wish to use the hot tub while the pool is heating, just note that the pool heating will turn off while the hot tub heats. Once the hot tub is turned back off, the pool heating will resume.
-Hot Tub Heating-
Please note that because the hot tub is an in-ground hot tub, it is not heated constantly in order to conserve energy. It will take around 30 minutes to heat to 104 degrees from ambient temperature.
-Pool and Hot Tub Service-
The pool and hot tub are serviced Mondays and Thursdays, approximately between 9am and 4pm. Please note that these times are estimates and may change slightly due to our technician's busy schedule. He will not approach the house but will go directly through to the backyard.
-Dogs-
We welcome your dogs! There is a $100 per dog per stay fee, limit of 2 dogs maximum. Please note on your reservation if you are bringing dog(s) and how many, and we will adjust the price accordingly. There is an unauthorized pet fee of $500. Please use the provided dog sheets before allowing your dogs on any furniture. Cats and other pets are not allowed.

-Desert Wildlife & Safety Tips-
The desert landscape is teeming with wildlife and natural beauty, offering a unique connection to nature, but it’s important to be mindful of the creatures and plants that call this area home. Guests may encounter a variety of wildlife during their stay, and while direct encounters with dangerous animals like coyotes, snakes, scorpions, bobcats, mountain lions and other desert dwellers are rare, it is important to be aware of your surroundings and to keep a safe distance from these creatures when spotted. Additionally, the desert is dotted with sharp cacti and other spiky plants. For your safety, always supervise children, pets, ESAs, and service animals while outdoors. Dogs should remain on a leash at all times and be watched closely while outdoors, as they can wander into potentially unsafe situations with wildlife or plants. By booking this property, guests acknowledge the potential for wildlife encounters and assume responsibility for their safety and the safety of their group. By respecting the local environment and staying aware, you can fully enjoy the magic of the desert.
-Security Camera-
There are security cameras facing the driveway and outdoor areas (behind the house and the side of house) for security and in order to monitor the quantity of people and cars on the property, so we may ensure compliance with local ordinances. There are no security cameras inside or facing any private areas of the home, such as the pool and spa area.
