Visit the R Lazy J Wildlife Ranch and then retreat to the property for dinner or Alpine's famous FoxFire Restaurant for live music and great food.

My boys and I had a wondeful time at the Tara Cabin. It was cozy, but spacious and roomy enough for us all, clean, well equipped with everything we needed, super comfy beds and love the heaters throughout the house, even in the bathroom. We will definitely be back!

Staying at the "Tara" Cabin was a wonderfulexperience from start to finish. We got right in, which was good, because it had been raining. Plenty of room on the porch so that we were able to keep things dry while avoiding bringing mud into a beautiful cabin. Once inside, we found that it was beautiful and well-equipped. We stayed three nights and enjoyed the area and especially the break from the Phoenix heat.We were even visited by some beautiful elk. The owners communicated well and we felt comfortable right away. There were three grandchildren who enjoyed the porch swing, the hammock, and "Little Tara" , the little cabin next door. We had some great activities in the area, but we were also happy to stay "home," relax, play games, etc.We look forward to our next stay!!
