Beautiful 4 bedroom, 4 bath home on 4+ acres - located on Mount St. Helena in Calistoga. Boutique small production winemakers Knighton Family Vineyard and Jericho Canyon are our neighbors on the historic Old Lawley Toll Road. Chateau Montelena, Envy and Summers wineries as well as the Old Faithful Geiser of California are 5 minutes away on Tubbs Lane. 10 minutes to downtown. Enjoy Napa by day, by night enjoy the serenity and amazing views of our mountain retreat!

Located on a historic wagon road that lead to the old mining town of Silverado in the 1800's, our home features natural mountain spring water (no sulfur smell which is typical in/around Calistoga due this being a very active geothermal area). On- demand hot water heater ensures that no one in a large party will need to take a cold shower!

4 bedrooms w/ luxury linens (650 thread count sheets, down comforters) & 4 baths - 2 full w/tub, 2 with showers (no tub)

Bedroom 1 - Hillside Retreat: King bed, ensuite bathroom (new natural stone shower in 2017), electric fireplace, kitchenette. Sliders to back deck with multiple seating areas including covered area with infrared heaters.

Bedroom 2 - The Treehouse: this is the master bedroom. King bed, ensuite bathroom w/ 2 sinks. Amazing views of Mt St Helena summit.

Bedroom 3 - The Wine Cellar: Queen bed, ensuite bathroom (new natural stone shower in 2017). Wood burning fireplace and kitchenette in room, sliders to outdoor seating area.

Bedroom 4 - The Foothills Den: Queen sized custom Murphy bed (Top of the line Simmons Beauty Rest mattress- same as Westin Hotel "Heavenly Bed"). Access to full bath in hallway. Sliders to back deck seating area, beautiful views of the foothills. 42" LCD TV.

Designer kitchen featuring a 6 burner Thermador pro range, Porcher farmhouse sink, plenty of prep space on island. Sliders to upper front deck allow for easy access to Weber gas grill.

Large dining room table seats 8, also seating for 8 on front deck.

Living room is large with plenty of seating- large sofa and 2 large side chairs. 42' flat screen TV (Dish network), DVD player; wood burning stove.

New in 2018! Large media room with large screen TV and pool table, powder room.

Front deck: upper deck features a table for 8 w/large 10’ umbrella, Weber gas grill. Lower deck features wine barrel adirondack chairs & ottomans facing Mt St Helena summit.

About Tina Sampath

Me and my husband are both employed in the biotech industry in the Bay Area- Calistoga is our escape from the fog in San Francisco! The Old Toll Road Inn is a dream come true for us - this will be our forever home when we retire. Our German Shepherds Mesa & Wyatt are huge fans of our Calistoga 'Pine Cone House'.

                                                          We loved this place. It served as home base for four couples on our first trip to wine country. We has plenty of room for everyone inside and the outside decks gave us another place to relax and enjoy the spectacular views. The owner, Tina, was very accesable and responsive to any needs. She even helped us find a private chef for a gourmet meal prepared in the well equipped kitchen. Location is private and secluded yet only a short drive to many local family wineries. We would definately return here. Highly recommended.

                                                          We were celebrating my husband's 60th with his two siblings and spouses and my sis and husband. The house was lovely and inviting. We loved sitting on the deck in the evenings enjoying the spectacular mountain views. The full kitchen and large dining table allowed all 8 of us to share breakfast each morning before heading out for the day to explore the many nearby wineries. The road up the mountain to the house is twisty & turny, but don't be rushed and just take it slow. The home is secluded, quiet and private. Tina and her husband are wonderful hosts who anticipated all our needs.We would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit the California wine country!

                                                          The home is lovely inside and out. Several nice outdoor sitting areas to enjoy the views.

                                                          We used the kitchen for breakfast only however it was fully stocked with anything

                                                          you could possibly need to prepare the nicest of meals. Wonderful large dining tables inside and out. The bedrooms are nicely decorated with spa linens and fully stocked accessories in the bathrooms. We had a question and was able to speak with the owner immediately. She was very gracious. We hope to return next year.

                                                          We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the house the first week in October! The views were phenomenal and the house wonderfully appointed for our family and friends visit to Napa Valley. We recommend it to any group of 8. The kitchen was completely outfitted for anything we needed to cook dinner in and could have dinner outside on the deck or inside which accommodated all of us. It was convenient short drive to Calistoga to get our provisions or to dine out in the wonderful restaurants. Thank-you for your hospitality.
