There's a version of the holidays where you're stuck in traffic, fighting crowds, and glued to your phone. And then there's this: waking up to the Pacific Ocean stretching out below you, a private pool just outside your door, and nothing on the agenda except deciding when to watch the sunset.

Sunset Villa is a brand-new, beautifully designed 2-bedroom home perched in the hills above Tárcoles on Costa Rica's Central Pacific coast. Whether you're gathering the family for Christmas or ringing in the New Year with someone you love, this is your villa.

The Space
At over 2,000 sq ft, the villa is spacious, modern, and built around indoor-outdoor living. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors connect the open living and dining area directly to the pool deck, so the ocean view is always with you.

Living & Dining — A large dining table is ready for a holiday meal, and the sofa faces straight out to the water.

The Kitchen — Fully equipped for real cooking, from a Christmas dinner to New Year's champagne and appetizers. Fresh seafood, tropical fruit, and local produce are minutes away.

The Bedrooms — Two beautifully appointed queen bedrooms (one with an added set of bunk beds), each with a private deck, air conditioning, and blackout curtains. Comfortably sleeps up to 6 — ideal for couples, friend groups, or a family with older kids and teens.

The Pool — The heart of the villa. Gather for a Christmas toast or count down to midnight as the sky turns from gold to pink to deep purple over the Pacific.

Please note: the pool is not fenced, so this home is best suited to guests comfortable supervising older children and teens rather than toddlers or very young kids.

The Views
The sunsets here are the main event — unobstructed, panoramic, and different every evening. This is the backdrop for your Christmas morning coffee or your countdown to midnight.

Wildlife at Your Doorstep
Scarlet macaws, howler monkeys, white-faced capuchins, and toucans are regular visitors — no jungle trek required. Just step onto the terrace.

The Gym & Wellness Space
A private gym sits a few steps from the pool — treadmill, stationary bike, free weights, and a dedicated yoga and stretching area. Start the new year the way you mean to continue it, or simply burn off the holiday meals.
