About the host

Host profile image
We live in the first floor of the home, and are available to answer or help with any questions. We keep to ourselves, but we do enjoy meeting our guests. We strive to offer a five star stay, so please reach out with any concerns or questions. We love hosting, and traveling ourselves.

Why they chose this property

My husband grew up in this town, and after we retired, we bought this home and decided to use it as a homebase. We enjoy travel traveling as well, but we know we always have a home here in Canandaigua, and we’d love to share the upper apartment with other others.

What makes this property unique

Although our home is not registered a historic home, it was built in 1890. It still has rich character, but modern amenities. It sits in a beautiful neighborhood in Canandaigua that also houses some historic units, such as the Grove just up the street. We also love how close it is to town, and to the lake. It’s very walkable for people who like to get their steps in!
