The space
This property has two separate units connected by exterior stairwells, ideal for two families or groups seeking both privacy and shared space.

Downstairs Unit: Master bedroom with a king bed, in-home office nook, full bathroom, 55” Smart TV, small living area, and stacked washer/dryer.

Upstairs Unit: Master bedroom with two queen beds, small dresser and clothes rack, small kitchenette, two small couches, and a balcony. Full bathroom with stand-up shower.

Both units feature thoughtful furnishings, cozy bedrooms, and comfortable spaces to gather. The layout provides plenty of room for multiple adults or families traveling together.

Parking:
-Parking is available in the gravel lot behind the building.
-Street parking is available on East Clay Street in front of the Airbnb. 2 Hour Street Parking is enforced from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Saturday. Not enforced on Sundays, but please pay attention to posted signs.
-Multiple parking garages are located around the property, with two within walking distance.

Guest access
Guests have access to both units and two private parking spaces in the back lot (up to three compact cars may fit).

Other things to note
The upstairs and downstairs units each have separate entrances, which provides privacy but may be unfamiliar at first. Bathrooms are slightly smaller than modern homes, and some kitchen spaces are compact. Guests may want to bring eye masks for early morning or night lighting and earplugs for occasional train noise nearby.

While our properties are full of character and located in one of Richmond’s oldest districts, we understand that their historic layouts may not be suitable for everyone. Please note that our Airbnbs do not have elevators, and access to the units may require climbing multiple flights of stairs.
