This property and our stay was good overall. The location was great and on a quiet street, we loved cooking in the kitchen, good fixtures nice furnishing and that stove "loved it". Minimally supplied kitchen but it was adequate as we only made breakfast there. The living areas are nice and fit my family's needs. Upon arriving it looked like the wind must have blown as there where chairs tossed around and a decorative sign on ground. We got it late on arrival day and only wanted a shower and to go to bed. The upstairs shower that was the main bathroom for 5 of the 7 family members was broken. I reached out to property manager via Vrbo as this was the only course of communication and never got a reply. We all had to use the shower in the basement. It was chilly over our stay, 40's in the day low 30s at night. The master had no heat and only a thin comforter and sheet, I had to buy additional blankets after the first cold night, there where also no wash clothes or extra towels, there where thermostats in other room with signs showing we could not adjust the heat settings. On the main level the primary heat source was a gas fire place. Overall our stay was good, the house was clean just a bit chilly and if it would of been warm the back yard looked inviting. We would stay here again but we will be packing extra blankets. I never had any direct communication with the property manager, Vrbo app had the instructions for arrival and departure information.

Upon arrival, the upstairs was extremely hot and we ended up having to run fans the entire time to keep it cool & at night open the windows. There was no A/C up there. The gas was turned off at the property so we weren’t able to use the stove the first day which required us to go to a restaurant for breakfast. Then after the gas was turned on, the technician left a note of danger that the fireplace should not be used due to not being vented. This raised a major safety concern for us. Had we wanted to use the fireplaces, we would not have known of the danger. Neither the top nor the bottom dishwasher would drain due to clogged filters. We were able to clean and unclog the filters but it was rather disgusting. The WiFi password listed at the house and the WiFi password listed in my check-in email were incorrect. The garbage bin outside was completely full upon arrival. And then the fact that we were unaware of the house being on the market and a showing occurring during our stay was not ok. There would have been people in the house with all of our personal belongings (unbeknownst to us) had we not been at the house when the realtor arrived. Major concerns for privacy there. We were also not able to use the outdoor grill as there were no propane tanks attached. Overall, the house is very cute and we made due with all the inconveniences but a VRBO should be a place for guests to come relax and enjoy their stay, not deal with all these issues!
