The space Peek-A-Lake Guest House is a private hillside stay designed for comfort, privacy, and beautiful lake views. The home sits on 30 private acres with forest surroundings, a private hiking trail, and a large back deck for relaxing and enjoying stunning sunsets.
The house has two separate bedrooms and a comfortable living area, making it a great fit for couples, families, or small groups. One bedroom has a queen bed, and the second bedroom has two twin beds. The living room also has a sofa bed that sleeps two.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, two sinks, a 2 burner gas cooktop, a microwave and oven combo, a coffee maker, a kettle, and kitchen essentials. There is also a washer and dryer in the home.
The full bathroom includes a tub and shower combo, sink, and toilet.
Guests also have Wi Fi and a TV with Roky TV. We do not use cable service.
One of the unique features of the home is its thoughtfully designed utility system, with clean tested deep well water and a solar supported power setup with grid connection for reliable comfort. It gives the home a special nature focused feel while still providing the convenience guests expect.
Guest access Guests have access to the entire guest house, the back deck, and the private hiking trail on the property. The guest house is located on private land and is set up for a quiet, private stay.
We will provide a property map with the hiking trail and key landmarks, so you can easily explore and enjoy the area during your stay. Guests are welcome to enjoy the surrounding property areas shown on the map.
The last 0.5 mile to the guest house is a private, maintained gravel road. We maintain it year-round, including regular grading in warmer months and snow clearing in winter. Under normal conditions, access is smooth and straightforward.
Self check in details will be provided before arrival, and parking is available on site near the guest house.
Other things to note This is a quiet private property in a true forest setting. We kindly ask guests to respect the peace of the area and our neighbors during their stay. At night it gets very quiet here, and sound carries surprisingly far outdoors, which is part of what makes the place so peaceful.
Please keep outdoor noise low in the evening, and no outdoor music, speakers or loud entertainment after 10:00 PM.
No smoking or vaping is allowed anywhere on the property, including outdoors, due to fire safety in the forest area.
No hunting, shooting, weapons use, illegal activity, or parties/events are allowed on the property. Small gatherings may be considered only with prior approval.
Dogs may be considered by request only, with prior approval and an additional fee. Small dogs only.
Please note this is a natural forest property with wildlife in the area. You may see deer and other local animals during your stay. Please enjoy wildlife respectfully and avoid disturbing it.
For safety and insurance reasons, only registered guests are allowed on the property and in the guest house unless approved in advance. No camping, tents, or additional setup for extra guests on the property without prior approval.
We live on the same 30-acre property in a separate home, set well away from the guest house. Guests have their own private space, and we respect your privacy, but we are nearby if you need anything during your stay.
