Welcome to your perfect Maine summer getaway! Barefoot Cottages is a peaceful coastal condo community tucked just off Route 1 and only one mile from beautiful Wells Beach. Start your mornings with a stroll to the shore, spend sunny afternoons lounging by the on-site pool, or squeeze in a quick workout at the clubhouse gym before heading out to explore the coast.

Enjoy the best of both convenience and tranquility—walk to the beach or take advantage of free parking at the end of Mile Road for easy access to the sand and surf. Just a half-mile away (a quick 3-minute drive), Wells Plaza offers everything you need for a carefree stay, including Hannaford grocery store, Reny’s, Dollar Tree, Bank of America, Flagship Cinemas, CVS, and plenty of local dining options.

Whether you’re here for long beach days, fresh seafood dinners, or quiet evenings by the coast, Barefoot Cottages is the ideal home base for a relaxing and memorable Maine vacation.

Built in 2012 and used previously as a summer vacation home for a family from New York City, unit #113 at Barefoot is in like-new condition. Freshly painted and has wood floors in all rooms except tile in the kitchen and bathroom. The bathroom has a walk-in shower. High ceilings and lots of windows create a light, spacious feeling.

Hi, I'm Ben. I've lived in Wells for 12 years and love the area and ability to walk everywhere (beach, restaurants, stores, movie theater, etc.) I purchased this cottage in 2025 as an investment property. If you love Wells as much as I do, or if you are new to the area, this is a great space and perfect location for your vacation in Wells. As a local, I'm available anytime you may need me during your stay.
